Is Yamaha FZ V3 worth buying in 2025 or it has become old?
10 January 2025 10:03
It depends on what you are after. The FZ V3 is still solid if you just want something reliable, comfortable and simple for a commuter that will run forever. If you want thrills, look elsewhere.
Why are there tank panel issues with the FZ V3? Are people exaggerating when they say they’re bad?
10 January 2025 10:03
It’s made too much fuss of by people. Now, it’s not perfect, but if it does start to rattle, it’s a super easy DIY fix. There’s no need to avoid the whole bike because of it.
How does the FZ V3 compare to newer 200cc bikes in 2025, performance wise?
10 January 2025 10:03
It's definitely widened. Features like ride by wire and multiple riding modes are something that the FZ V3 can only dream of and that modern 200cc bikes readily offer.
The FZ-10’s reliability compared to the Euro competitors BMW S1000R and Aprilia Tuono?
10 January 2025 08:33
They're all pretty close these days, I'd say. BMW and Aprilia have really closed the gap in terms of reliability. The real difference is that the Yamaha is usually cheaper to service.
Is the FZ 10 too much bike for everyday street riding or is it tame enough for an experienced rider?
10 January 2025 08:33
For the street, it’s definitely overkill. Of course you can ride it everyday, but you’re never even using half of what it can do. Why not get something smaller and a bit more fun to wring out?
Is Yamaha FZ 10 still worth buying in 2025 or it is outdated?
10 January 2025 08:33
I can tell you as a current owner, you can still have a blast riding in 2025. It’s not the newest or greatest thing out there but every time I twist the throttle it puts a smile on my face. Right? That’s what matters, right?
How does the FZ-10 rate when it comes to long distance touring comfort in comparison to other naked bikes?
10 January 2025 08:33
I'd say that's middle of the pack. It’s better than a full on sportbike but not as comfortable as a Tracer or a BMW R1250RS. If you want something sporty but still want to be able to throw it on the back of the car for an occasional long trip, it's a good compromise.
What is the best sound and performance exhaust upgrade for the FZ 10?
10 January 2025 08:33
I'm running the M4 exhaust and could not be happier. It didn't break the bank, it had great sound, and it was noticeable that it saved weight. It’s also not as common as some of the other brands, so you’ll stand out a little more.
In 2025, is the FZ6R's lack of modern electronics a drawback, or a benefit?
10 January 2025 08:27
The electronics keep the price down, both for the purchase and the maintenance. For riders on a budget but who still want a bike that can do the job, it's a great option.
How does the FZ6R compare to dedicated tourers when used as a long distance tourer?
10 January 2025 08:27
Weekend trips are okay, but for serious touring you want a dedicated bike. The FZ6R is not a comfortable bike or one with very many features for really long hauls.
Is the FZ6R a good ride jack for a customization project?
10 January 2025 08:27
Subtle, tasteful mods are what the FZ6R is all about. It’s really something you can really enhance the strengths of without going overboard. But it’s all about finding that balance.
How does the FZ6R stack up against today’s 650cc twins in terms of real world rideability?
10 January 2025 08:27
Today's 650 twins are just better all around bikes. More than enough power for the street, better fuel economy, easier maintenance. Against this backdrop the FZ6R feels a bit dated.
Has the Yamaha FZ6R gone the way of the Dodo and become irrelevant in 2025, or is it still worth your time?
10 January 2025 08:27
Depends on what you're after. It’s still solid for a reliable commuter or beginner bike. If you’re after cutting edge tech, though, you’re out of luck.
What does the FZ 09 look like in 2025 compared to modern naked bikes?
10 January 2025 08:21
It’s still performance wise competitive but lacks in terms of features. Newer bikes have things like cornering ABS and advanced traction control — game changers.
What would be the most worthwhile upgrade for the FZ09?
10 January 2025 08:21
I'd say tires. How the bike handles and feels make a huge difference, and a good set of sticky rubber will make a big difference. It’s also a relatively cheap upgrade, plus.
What does the FZ09’s stock suspension feel like for daily riding and some spirited runs?
10 January 2025 08:21
Cruising around town, the stock suspension is fine, but it just doesn’t hold up to the faster stuff in the twisties. If you like to ride hard, it definitely needs an upgrade.
Are people right about the jerky fuel mapping and throttle response on the FZ-09?
10 January 2025 08:21
Once you get an ECU flash it is night and day. Totally worth it and the bike transforms. This should have been like this from the factory.
Is the FZ09 too much bike for a new rider?
10 January 2025 08:21
If you have a good head on your shoulders and get proper training, it can be done. Why make learning harder on yourself? But there are better starter options out there.
Is the FZ07 outdated in 2025, or is it still relevant in 2025?
10 January 2025 08:15
Yamaha really needs to update this bike, it’s still a great bike, but it’s getting old. A little more power, better suspension, and some basic traction control would be a long way.
What's the difference between the FZ-07 and its bigger brother, the FZ-09/MT-09, for everyday riding?
10 January 2025 08:15
For everyday riding, the FZ-07 is way better. It's lighter, more fuel efficient and you can actually use the power on the street without going to jail.
