What does the FZ 09 look like in 2025 compared to modern naked bikes?
By the time we get to 2025, the motorcycle landscape is a very different place than when the FZ-09 was first introduced. The naked bike segment has been developing new technologies, stricter emissions standards, and changing rider preferences. Such debates have begun about how the FZ09 stacks up, especially older models, against modern competitors. Raw, analog feel and straightforward design are two reasons some riders say they like the FZ-09. There are others who disbelieve in the newer bikes for the newer bikes come with advanced electronics, more refined engines and improved suspension, for one. Things discussed tend to include the value proposition of purchasing a used FZ-09 versus a new bike, long term reliability of the FZ-09 and parts availability, and is the FZ-09’s performance and character still up to snuff when considering modern engineering solutions. Riders also debate the FZ-09's simpler design over the complexity of modern bikes full of electronic aids.
The FZ-09 is certainly getting old now, but it’s still a beast. Bikes that are new have better electronics and suspension straight from the box.
