The Austrian bike maker KTM is working on its upcoming bike RC 790. KTM RC 790 will be a fully-faired sportbike that will be based on Duke 790. The KTM RC 790 will be powered by a 799 CC parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that will produce 104.6 PS at 9000 rpm and 87 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm. The engine of the bike is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it will have a slipper clutch and assist as well along with other safety tech.

This move is part of KTMs strategy to expand its presence in the Indian market with more high-performance motorcycles. I think this is a great move, as it will give Indian riders more options in the middleweight segment.
