Is the Thar Roxx eating into sales of other Mahindra models such as the XUV700 and Scorpio?
27 December 2024 11:38
I don't think so. The Roxx, however, appeals to a different kind of buyer, who would never have looked at the XUV700 or Scorpio in the first place.
Is Mahindra mismanaging Thar Roxx production, or are the long waiting periods justified?
27 December 2024 11:38
It's just high demand. It takes time to make quality and I’d rather wait for a quality built vehicle than a rushed one.
Should you consider buying a Thar Roxx for 25 lakh?
27 December 2024 11:38
If you like off roading and need a capable vehicle that can also be your daily driver, it is worth every penny. All those tech and comfort features are certainly worth it.
Is the Thar Roxx's wheel hop issue a daily driver killer?
27 December 2024 11:33
This is something Mahindra needs to address. It may not be unsafe, but it is certainly alarming for a 25 lakh vehicle.
Is the Thar Roxx really a practical daily driver for a family?
27 December 2024 11:33
And for the small family that loves outdoors, it’s perfect. There are better options, though, for regular urban use.
Is the Thar Roxx cannibalising sales from other Mahindra models such as the XUV700 and Scorpio?
27 December 2024 11:33
I don't think so. But the Roxx appeals to a different type of buyer who wouldn’t even consider the XUV700 or Scorpio.
Is Mahindra mismanaging production, or are the long waiting periods for the Thar Roxx justified?
27 December 2024 11:33
It's just high demand. It takes time to build quality, and I’d rather wait for a well built car than a rushed one.
Can the Thar Roxx justify the 25 lakh price tag?
27 December 2024 11:33
Absolutely not worth it. For 25 lakhs, you get much more refined and feature packed SUVs which are better for day to day use.
Should Mahindra work on the Thar's on road manners or focus on improving its off road capabilities?
27 December 2024 11:27
I feel Mahindra should concentrate on noise reduction and raising the ride quality on roads, but not at the expense of ground clearance or approach/departure angles. It's a hard thing to get the balance of, but it can be done.
Is the Mahindra Thar really the hype, or all it’s cracked up to be?
27 December 2024 11:27
But the hype around the Thar is mostly justified, not everyone will like it. It's a commitment vehicle that you need to understand its limitations. If you only buy it for the looks, then you will probably be disappointed. It's amazing if you actually use it for what it's supposed to be used for.
Is owning a Thar a bad driver or that is a stereotype?
27 December 2024 11:27
The issue is not the Thar itself, but a lack of proper driver education in India. Any powerful vehicle can be a dangerous thing in the wrong hands. All drivers need better training, and stricter enforcement of traffic rules.
Is the Thar too impractical for most buyers?
27 December 2024 11:27
The practicality issue, I think, is really going to come down to your lifestyle. The Thar can work as a daily driver if you are single or have a small family and don't have to haul a lot of stuff. That’s life, it’s all about your priorities.
Can one really buy a trusted and built to last vehicle for so little money?
27 December 2024 11:27
I have had both the old and new Thar and can very confidently say that the new one is a huge improvement in terms of build quality and reliability. It's not perfect but it's improved a lot.
Could a fleet of modified Mahindra Supro Vans be the answer for last mile delivery in crowded cities?
27 December 2024 11:10
In particular, I think this is something that could work in large, dense urban areas, particularly for things like small package delivery or food delivery. The last mile is all about efficiency.
Does the Mahindra Supro Van make for the ideal vehicle for a budget cross country road trip?
27 December 2024 11:10
You could definitely do some really cool DIY mods to make it more road trip friendly, though. Off the roof rack, custom storage, maybe even a little kitchenette in the back!
Could the Mahindra Supro Van be the ultimate adventure vehicle without us realizing it?
27 December 2024 11:10
It's certainly not going to be winning any beauty contests, but that's sort of the point. This bad boy would be a conversation starter if you were to roll up to a fancy campsite in it!
Is the Mahindra Supro Van the next big thing in food truck culture?
27 December 2024 11:10
The small size could work out perfectly for pop up events or festivals where space is tight. If you could squeeze a couple of these into the space of a regular food truck, you could.
Is the ultimate budget living hack to convert a Mahindra Supro Van into a tiny home?
27 December 2024 11:10
I've seen people convert tiny little vehicles into campers. With a bit of creativity, a Supro could totally be used as a weekend getaway vehicle or for short term living.
Are our kids really safe in the Mahindra Supro School Bus?
27 December 2024 11:02
So as a school principal I had to make the call on these buses. It was a tough decision, but we went with the Supro. It’s a balance between safety, cost, and practicality. We don't have money for those fancy imported buses and this is a lot better than the vans we were using before. Plus, the parents are happy with the change.
Is the Mahindra Supro School Bus really eco friendly?
27 December 2024 11:02
Wait, that’s not how it works. Electric sounds great, but what is powering that electricity? It’s still coal power in many parts of India. At least we know the Supro is more fuel efficient than the bigger buses. That’s a step in the right direction.
