In real world conditions, how does the Jeeto Plus’s fuel efficiency rate?
27 December 2024 09:34
I've driven a few mini trucks so I'd say Jeeto Plus is better in terms of fuel efficiency than most but not revolutionary. More impressive, though, is how it maintains decent efficiency when loaded. The Jeeto Plus is able to handle heavy loads better, which is something many competitors see a big drop in mileage with.
Does the Jeeto Plus really have as low a maintenance cost as Mahindra claims?
27 December 2024 09:34
I haven't been surprised at all by the maintenance cost. The Jeeto Plus feels much more modern and reliable, than what I am used to coming from an older Tata Ace. After the first year of ownership, I haven’t had any major issues. A big plus with the longer service intervals is reduced downtime. I can’t vouch for the exact 22 paise per km claim, but at the very least, I’m feeling like I’m spending less on maintenance in total.
Is the Mahindra Jeeto really a ‘mini truck for winners’ or just overhyped marketing?
27 December 2024 09:25
Winners? If you ask me, it's more of a "mini truck for constant repairs." Honestly, I’ve spent more time in the service center than I have actually using it for my business. For heavy loads, the single cylinder engine just won't do. Don't save your money on something that will not stand the test of time.
Does the Mahindra Jeeto’s CNG variant make sense for urban delivery businesses?
27 December 2024 09:25
On paper, CNG sounds great, but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Long routes have been nightmares finding CNG stations. And sometimes I spend more time and money trying to refuel than I save in fuel costs. Unless you're only doing short city runs, it's just not practical.
Is 700-815 kg of payload capacity enough for most small businesses?
27 December 2024 09:25
Being one who swapped from a larger truck to the Jeeto, I actually like the payload limit. This makes me more efficient with my loads and has ultimately helped me squeeze the best out of my business operations. There are times when limitations are a good thing.
The Mahindra Jeeto’s comfort and ergonomics for drivers doing long hours?
27 December 2024 09:25
I work 10-12 hour shifts in my Jeeto and, to be honest, it’s not bad. The controls are easy to reach and the seat's decent. It’s no luxury car, but for a mini truck it’s surprisingly comfortable. So that’s a win in my book, my back doesn’t kill me at the end of the day.
Has the Mahindra Jeeto been a game changer for last mile delivery as promised?
27 December 2024 09:25
It's been a solid player, I think it might be a little bit of a stretch to call it a game changer. It's opened up possibilities we didn't have before for small businesses like mine. Many of us have been able to expand our operations based on the affordability factor alone.
Is the Bolero Neo Plus a more sensible bet than newer compact SUVs costing around the same?
27 December 2024 08:13
You all forget about maintenance costs. The Neo Plus is easy and inexpensive to fix. But those high tech SUVs are going to be a fortune to maintain out of warranty.
While the Bolero Neo Plus is no match to other budget SUVs off the road, it does manage to keep you afloat.
27 December 2024 08:13
Surprisingly capable off road! It has the great high ground clearance and robust suspension and makes a good use while riding rough trails. It's not a Thar, for sure, but it will handle most situations the average user will encounter.
Is the basic interior of the Bolero Neo Plus outdated, or is it a selling point for who it is targeting?
27 December 2024 08:13
Come on, it's 2024. Touchscreens are even on budget cars now. The Neo Plus feels like it's from the past. The interior is pretty basic; although they’ve managed to charge $72k for them, I struggle to see any justification for that price.
Is the Bolero Neo Plus just a stretched Bolero Neo or does it bring something new to the table?
27 December 2024 08:13
It's definitely more than a stretched Neo. The Plus has genuine 9 seater capability, that’s a rarity at this price point. That extra row makes a huge difference for large families or small business.
Does the Bolero Neo Plus make sense for urban areas or is it a rural product?
27 December 2024 08:13
To be honest, it doesn’t look like it’s winning any style points in the city. But for practicality? It's hard to beat. If you run a small business or need to move a lot of people at once, this is especially important.
Is the lack of modern features like the Bolero Neo's, more reliable in the long run?
27 December 2024 08:02
Don’t romanticize the lack of features. Safety tech saves lives. I'd rather have a reliable death trap that is only once in a while is going to need a repair than a car with modern safety features.
Is a 1 star NCAP rating for the Bolero Neo a deal breaker for family buyers?
27 December 2024 08:02
It's not the build quality which got the 1 star, it's the lack of safety features. But if Mahindra made airbags and ABS standard, it would probably score much higher.
Is the Bolero Neo's design right in the middle of classic Bolero ruggedness and modern aesthetics?
27 December 2024 08:02
It is the perfect design for its intended market. Boleros are bought by people who want the tough, no nonsense look. Whatever was too fancy would scare off the core buyers.
Does the price tag for the Bolero Neo add up to its features and abilities as one of the compact SUVs ruling the market?
27 December 2024 08:02
It’s priced fairly for what it offers, and Mahindra needs to focus on the safety features in order to justify the high end price. Put a couple of airbags on it and better NCAP rating and it'd be a no brainer.
Is the Bolero Neo really an SUV or just another fancy matchbox on wheels?
27 December 2024 08:02
It's definitely a true SUV! It has proper off road chops thanks to the body on frame construction and rear wheel drive setup. Mine have handled some pretty tough terrain and I have yet to have an issue.
Is the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up's bare bones design more attractive or less attractive?
27 December 2024 07:44
Love it! They don’t have any fancy electronics to break down. Able to just be a simple, reliable workhorse.
Can MMHd bang global names with it’s Bolero MaXX Pik-Up in terms of quality and reliability?
27 December 2024 07:44
My friend imported a pickup and I have had fewer issues with my Bolero than he has had with his pickup.
Is lack of advanced safety features a deal breaker for the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up?
27 December 2024 07:44
It's a tough call. Affordability is an issue for many buyers, but safety is still a huge concern.
