Can the Thar Roxx justify the 25 lakh price tag?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views4 comments
The Mahindra Thar Roxx — especially the top end AX7 4x4 Auto variant — is priced close to 25 lakhs. It combines off road capability with modern features, but many potential buyers are wondering if it is worth the price. While the vehicle has a solid build quality, comes with a long list of advanced tech features and the Mahindra name, it finds itself priced against more refined SUVs and even some luxury offerings. The Roxx's positioning as a lifestyle off roader with daily driver comfort also makes it a premium vehicle, some argue, while others feel it's overpriced for what is essentially a niche vehicle. The debate even includes if the extra features and comfort that Roxx adds really make up for the huge price difference that exists between it and the standard Thar.

It's a lifestyle choice. If you like the Thar's rugged image, and the comfort of the Roxx, you'll get your money's worth.

I'd say it's overpriced. At a much lower price point, the standard Thar offers most of the off road capability.

It’s pricey, but you are paying for the brand and the unique positioning. This is nothing like in the market.

Absolutely not worth it. For 25 lakhs, you get much more refined and feature packed SUVs which are better for day to day use.
