Our take on this /// Verdict
The Ducati Multistrada 950 S is a versatile and highly capable motorcycle that excels in various riding scenarios, although it has its limitations. On open roads and highways, it is a joy to ride, offering exceptional comfort and stability thanks to its adjustable windscreen and the Ducati Skyhook active suspension. The bikes 937cc L-Twin engine delivers strong mid-range torque, making it responsive and engaging, especially in Sport mode. However, in city riding, it can be cumbersome due to its wide handlebar and heating issues, which can make maneuvering through tight spaces challenging. Despite these drawbacks, the Multistrada 950 S is well-equipped with features like customizable ride modes, cornering ABS, and a robust braking system, making it a solid choice for both beginners and expert riders looking for a high-performance adventure tourer.
Price
In India, the Ducati Multistrada 950 S comes with a significant price tag. The ex-showroom price is around Rs 15.49 lakh, which positions it as one of the more expensive options in its segment. However, considering the advanced features such as fully adjustable electronic suspension, customizable ride modes, and the comprehensive suite of safety features including cornering ABS and Ducati Traction Control, the price seems justified. On-road prices can vary depending on the state and local taxes, but you can expect to pay around Rs 17-18 lakh once all the additional costs are factored in. While it is pricier than some of its rivals, the Multistrada 950 S offers a unique blend of performance, comfort, and technology that makes it a compelling purchase for those willing to invest in a premium motorcycle.

Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 03:03 AM
The mileage of the Ducati Multistrada 950 S can vary significantly based on the riding conditions and modes. On highways and during long tours, the bike can deliver a respectable mileage of around 15-20 kml, thanks to its efficient engine and the ability to cruise at high speeds with ease. However, in city traffic, the mileage drops due to the engines dislike for low speeds and the heat generated, which can lead to a mileage of around 10-12 kml. Overall, while the mileage is not the strongest point of this bike, it is reasonable considering its performance and capabilities.
