Our take on this /// Verdict
The Ducati Multistrada V2 is a versatile and powerful motorcycle that excels in various riding scenarios, making it an excellent choice for both seasoned riders and those looking for a reliable tourer. Its 937cc Testastretta 11 engine delivers smooth and refined power, with 111.5bhp and 94Nm of torque, which is more than sufficient for both highway cruising and off-road adventures. The bikes ergonomics have been improved, with a lower seat height and adjusted footpegs, enhancing comfort for long-distance rides. The suspension, particularly the Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO on the S variant, provides excellent handling and stability. However, its worth noting that this bike may not be the best fit for new riders due to its raw power and handling characteristics. Overall, the Multistrada V2 is a feature-rich, technologically advanced motorcycle that offers a compelling package for those seeking a blend of performance, comfort, and versatility.

The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 has been spotted testing with a fresh, sleeker design, including a new chassis, swingarm, and LED lights. The bike will feature a redesigned V2 engine, replacing the long-used Testastretta engine, and is expected to debut in December. This new engine will also be used in a mid-range sports bike, marking a significant change in Ducatis engine lineup. I think this overhaul will make the Multistrada V2 more competitive in the adventure tourer segment.

Ducati is set to unveil the 2025 Multistrada V2 with several key updates, including a new frame, reworked subframe, and a distinct swingarm with hollow cutouts. The bike will also feature new dual LED headlights and side panels with LEDs, inspired by the Multistrada V4 design. Additionally, the new V2 engine will skip the Desmo valves in favor of a conventional setup, potentially improving service intervals without sacrificing performance. Mileage

The mileage of the Ducati Multistrada V2, as certified by ARAI, is 17 kmpl. In real-world conditions, this can vary based on riding style, terrain, and load. For urban use, you might see slightly lower mileage, while highway rides could yield closer to the ARAI figure. The 20-litre fuel tank provides a decent range, making it suitable for long-distance touring without frequent fuel stops. While the mileage is not the highest in its class, the Multistrada V2s performance and features make it a worthwhile compromise for many riders. For those planning extensive tours or daily commutes, the fuel efficiency is manageable, especially considering the bikes overall capabilities. Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |
