Benelli TNT 200 Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Benelli TNT 200 is an upcoming street fighter that will sit below TNT 25 in the Indian market, rivaling none other than KTM Duke 200. It was first expected to rival lower placed bikes like Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 but soon after the first set of images arrived, the presence of expensive components cleared the fact that it will be placed at a higher point. Benelli TNT 200 comes with a 199.4cc, single cylinder engine producing 21.8 HP at 9500 rpm and 18 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The values are quite low in comparison to all other 200cc bikes of India. Not just that, these feel even worse when equated with a dry weight of 164 kg. Shockingly, wet weight of even the heaviest option is 10 kg lighter than TNT 200’s dry weight. It comes with a 13-liter fuel tank and claims 780mm of low seat height. It seems like they are sharing some components with bigger bikes, making it heavier in comparison to all others that actually bring competition to TNT 200. The frame is pretty visible with red paint that further moved to rear footpeg holder and brake calipers.
Alloy wheel design on the motorcycle is also unique when compared to other 200cc bikes of India. Using USD forks, liquid cooling and fuel injection have guaranteed that pricing it effectively will not be possible at all. More than that, the introduction of standard ABS on bikes above 125cc will end remaining chances of TNT 200’s price reduction. It measures 2050 mm in length, 810mm in width and 1065 mm in height. The exhaust design is praiseworthy and using sporty rear tyre hugger further raises the premium quotient of TNT 200. Split seats with sporty grab rails complete this package for sure.
