Our take on this /// Verdict
The Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx is a formidable machine that excels in several key areas, making it an excellent choice for those who prioritize comfort, performance, and versatility. On the road, it is supremely comfortable, especially at high speeds, thanks to its semi-active suspension and effective windscreen. The bikes linear torque and quick-shifting gearbox make it a joy to ride, whether youre cruising down the highway or navigating twisty mountain roads. While it may not be the best off-road, it can handle mild off-road excursions with ease, though its clearly more suited to paved roads. The pillion comfort is top-notch, and the bikes overall stability and handling make it a great option for long-distance touring. However, its weight and size do make it less ideal for novice off-road riders.
Price
In India, the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx comes with a significant price tag. As of the latest updates, the ex-showroom price for the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx is around 19.5 lakhs. However, once you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other taxes, the price can escalate to approximately 22-23 lakhs. This places it in the premium segment of adventure bikes, competing with other high-end models like the BMW R 1250 GS and Ducati Multistrada. While the price is steep, the bikes performance, comfort, and features justify the cost for serious enthusiasts and long-distance riders.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 03:25 PM When it comes to mileage, the Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx offers a reasonable return given its powerful engine and size. You can expect an average fuel efficiency of around 20-25 kml, depending on the riding conditions. This translates to a range of about 400-500 kilometers on a full 20-liter tank. For those concerned about running costs, this mileage is respectable, especially considering the bikes performance and comfort levels.
