Our take on this /// Verdict
The Suzuki Intruder SP Fi is a compelling option in the cruiser segment, especially for those who appreciate a blend of style, performance, and comfort. While its design may be polarizing, with some finding the front end more appealing than the rear, it undoubtedly stands out on the road. The bikes handling is one of its strongest points, feeling light and nimble despite its cruiser profile, which makes it surprisingly adept at cornering and slow-speed maneuvers. The engine, borrowed from the Gixxer, is smooth and responsive, providing sufficient power for both city riding and short highway trips. However, the comfort level can be a concern for some riders, particularly over long distances, due to the firm suspension and potential back and leg pain. Overall, its a solid choice for those seeking a modern cruiser with good performance and safety features like ABS.
Price
The Suzuki Intruder SP Fi, although discontinued, was priced competitively in the Indian market. At the time of its availability, the ex-showroom price in Delhi was around Rs 1.07 lakh. When considering the on-road price, which includes additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, it would typically range from Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.30 lakh, depending on the state and local regulations. Given its features, including a fuel-injected engine, ABS, and a digital instrument console, the price was reasonable for the segment it operated in. However, with the bike now discontinued, potential buyers would need to look at current market offerings or consider purchasing a used model.
