Vehicle Overview Suzuki Intruder is based on the Gixxer as it gets the same 154.9cc, single cylinder engine producing 14.6 BHP @ 8000 rpm and 14 Nm @ 6000 rpm. It has an all new body design that looks huge from certain angles. Suzuki offers single channel ABS on the motorcycle. It comes with a carburetor fed engine and shares other parts like suspension, tyres, wheels and instrument console with the popular Gixxer series. The 150cc cruiser rivals none other than Avenger 150 but claims almost INR 20,000 over the on-road price of Bajaj's youngest Avenger.

Suzuki Intruder 150 Review

Expert Review by Maxabout

Suzuki Intruder 150 is one powerful cruiser among top bikes that one can consider under INR 1 lakh. Those looking for more refinement can get the fuel injected variant. Suzuki introduced this cruiser with tried and tested, 154.9cc engine producing 14.8 PS at 8000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6000 rpm. The same motor is available on almost entire motorcycle range. Fuel injected variant is also equipped with exactly similar features and even power outputs stays exactly the same as carburetor fed version. Intruder 150 is priced at INR 99,995 while Intruder Fi can be bought for INR 1,06,896.

Intruder was made different from other bikes in this segment as one gets single channel ABS as standard on both variants. Suzuki uses a refined 5-speed gearbox for a right balance between mileage and stress free riding. Front comes with 100/80-17 tyre with ABS equipped disc brake while rear gets 140/60-17 tyre with single non ABS equipped disc brake. Both brakes and tyres are also shared with Gixxer series. Design of Intruder is a different story as one gets huge front headlight wrapped inside dual tone casing. The seat used here are huge and lower than commuter street bikes.

Suzuki Intruder can be bought in two shades namely Glass Sparkle Black/Matte Metallic Titanium Silver and Metallic Oort Gray/Metallic Matte Black. Footpegs have been moved forward for that typical cruiser position while dual exhaust outlets offer impressive sound for a single cylinder engine. Suzuki uses the same full digital instrument console on this motorcycle. Intruder rivals Avenger 180 for its performance while price places it higher than more powerful Avenger 220 in India. Royal Enfield bikes are still far from Intruder as most affordable Bullet 350 commands INR 17,000 premium over the same.
