Our take on this /// Verdict
The Kawasaki Z800 is a highly capable and enjoyable motorcycle that excels in both everyday commuting and aggressive riding. Its smooth and linear power delivery, coupled with a satisfying amount of pull from a full stop, makes it a joy to ride. The bikes ergonomics, though not as upright as some competitors, are manageable and comfortable, even for taller riders. The lack of advanced rider aids and technology allows for a more direct connection with the bike, inspiring confidence in its handling. While its design may not be to everyones taste and it is on the heavier side, the Z800s performance and reliability make it a solid choice for those looking to step into the world of superbikes.
Price
In India, the Kawasaki Z800 was priced competitively within the superbike segment. At the time of its launch, the ex-showroom price was around 8.05 lakh. However, prices can vary depending on the state and local taxes, which would push the on-road price to approximately 9.5 lakh to 10.5 lakh, including registration, insurance, and other costs. Its important to note that prices may have fluctuated since its initial launch, and any current pricing would need to be verified with local dealerships. Despite the cost, the Z800 offers a compelling package of performance, comfort, and reliability.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 05:08 PM The mileage of the Kawasaki Z800 in India is relatively modest, given its powerful engine. You can expect an average fuel efficiency of around 15-20 kml in mixed riding conditions. This is typical for a bike in its class, and while it may not be the most fuel-efficient option, the Z800s performance and riding experience make it a worthwhile trade-off for many enthusiasts. Running costs will be higher due to the lower mileage, but for those prioritizing performance, this is a manageable compromise.

Seating comfort is compromised on long rides, Needs improvement. Power is sufficient but a minor change in sprockets will improve the performance drastically.
