User Reviews for KTM Duke
Very Poor Build Quality No Support
Lots of problems from day one, two and a half years later most not resolved, very poor from KTM all-round very disappointed with the bike its been horrendous owning it.
Best Features: Headlights
Pros: Was Ok to Start With
Cons: Poor quality after a year, its very poor
Best 200cc Bike in India
Currently i bought a Duke 200 BS6 2 weeks ago and its a good decision to buy. I am driving between 55 and 65 and getting a mileage of 40.1 km/l currently which is a good one in this segment. The headlight visibility is good. Initial acceleration is also good. I recommend for Duke 200 and above version to use premium petrol as the compression rate is 11.3. Overall experience, I am totally satisfied with the bike. As on the cons side the ground clearance is really now especially when you are carrying an pillion rider, there is an high chance of hitting the lower part in the bumper.
Best Features: Dual Channel ABS, DRL
Pros: Looks, Acceleration and Mileage
Cons: Ground Clearance
Worst bike when it comes to maintainance
This review is based on personal experience. KTM Duke 200 is One of the worst bikes when it comes to maintenance. I feel I have spent the same amount on petrol and maintenance. For 15,000km Petrol = 36,000 (bike mileage 30km/LTR) Petrol price - 75 (AVG) Maintenance Service = 3 times x 3500 = 10500 (min) Fork oil seal replacement= 2500 Starter motor stator coil replacement =3500 Chain sprocket replacement= 3500 Oil seal replacement = 1500 Start on button replacement = 1200 Fuel sensor replacement= 1000 Clutch wire replacement = 200 Chain lubrication For every 500kms = 100 I.e for 15,000kms = 3000 Seat cover (because seat started cracking) = 800 Both tires = 7000 Total = 34,700 I can even show bill for all the things I have mentioned above. Bike is not designed for Indian roads. It's just an overpriced low quality bike.
Best Features: Nothing to tell
Pros: Acceleration
Cons: Bike it self
Good looking KTM 390 Duke. But too aggressive looks.
KTM has built a good bike, but it's too aggressive look and can't hold more interest for long time. Good bike for superbike beginners
Best Features: TFT display, led headlamp, orange color, look, sound,
Pros: Value for money, power, pickup, design, metzler tyres
Cons: Seat height, not comfortable, low fuel tank, poor customer service (not all the places).
1st of its kind !!
Had waited long, but ultimately had launched in India !! By going what's in the paper, it seems like it won't fall short in performance and will be a good investment!! Also not to mention, the waiting period for the Duke 390 is too bit longer as that of Duke 250 & 200,which will be available from 8th of March.
Best Features: TFT info screen, Slipper Clutch, Ride By Wire, LED Headlamps, Adjustable suspension arms !!
Pros: Overhauling design from the previous generation Duke 390. Looks will remain appealing for the coming 4 to 5 years.
Cons: The waiting period of the Duke 390 is more then 1 month after booking too. Price increases in different states, so have to go deep into pockets!!
KTM Duke 790 Discussion
Must launch in India.....
Yes but horsepower is irrelevant if we don't know the weight. My Ducati 821 Hypermotard SP is 110hp and weighs 205kg full of fuel. What does this weigh full of fuel?
Plz tell me the launching date of this bike
Expected power of this bike is 115 BHP and the price is Rs.400,000 if completely made in India.
