USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Triumph Street Triple S is a standout in the middleweight streetfighter segment, offering a perfect blend of performance, comfort, and manageability. This bike is a gem for both novice and experienced riders, thanks to its refined 765cc inline-three engine that delivers 113PS at 11,500rpm and 73Nm of torque at 9,100rpm. The power delivery is almost linear across the rev range, making it a joy to ride in various conditions, from city streets to highway cruises and even track days. The bikes lightweight design and well-tuned suspension ensure high-speed stability and excellent handling, even on less-than-perfect road surfaces. However, minor drawbacks include the somewhat uncomfortable pillion seat and the underwhelming Nissin 2-piston calipers, though they still perform adequately. Overall, the Street Triple S is a versatile and exhilarating ride that justifies its premium pricing.
Price
In India, the Triumph Street Triple S comes with an ex-showroom price tag of around Rs 8.71 lakh. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can escalate to approximately Rs 10-11 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. While this may seem steep, especially when compared to its closest rivals like the Kawasaki Z900, the Street Triple S offers a unique combination of performance, features, and build quality that makes it a worthwhile investment for serious motorcycle enthusiasts. The premium pricing is also reflective of the bikes advanced electronics, superior build quality, and the exclusivity it brings to the table.

Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 02:09 AM The mileage of the Triumph Street Triple S in India can vary significantly based on riding conditions and styles. In city traffic, you can expect an average fuel efficiency of around 15-20 kml, while on highways, this can improve to about 25-30 kml. The bikes fuel efficiency is also influenced by its riding modes the Rain mode, for instance, delivers power in a more laidback fashion, which can help in conserving fuel. However, the real-world mileage may differ from the claimed figures due to factors like road conditions, traffic, and the riders behavior. Overall, while the Street Triple S is not the most fuel-efficient option, its performance and handling make it a compelling choice for those who prioritize excitement over economy. I just ride 5 kilometres everyday but, can feel the pain when my bike enters a pothole within this distance. The super bike experience was ruined the first day with such bad roads.
