Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Review
Detailed Review by Maxabout Team
Bajaj has launched the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 in India, returning the full-faired motorcycle to the market with a host of upgrades. This latest version of Pulsar will come for a price of ?1.84 lakh (ex-showroom) and promises to reenergise the Pulsar lineup with a host of modern features and better performance.
2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Design and Style
Twin projector headlamps and LED DRLs are retained with the 2025 Pulsar RS200's aggressive styling. The bike has new body graphics and a redesigned LED taillight with integrated turn indicators. The bike's sporty appeal remains largely unchanged, as the fairing remains unchanged.
Engine and gearbox of 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200
The RS200 is powered by the same 199.5cc liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that makes 24.1 bhp at 9,750 rpm and 18.7 Nm at 8,000 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox, now with a slip and assist clutch to make gear shifts smoother.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Suspension, Brakes and Tyres
Suspension duties are still performed by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock for the bike. There is dual channel ABS and the bike features a 300mm front disc and 230mm rear disc for braking duties. A big upgrade is the wider 140/70 R17 rear tyre, which should enhance stability and grip.

- It also provides turn by turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.
- Three ride modes: Road, Rain, and Off-road

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Competitors
GPX Demon GR200R
Sporty design, 198cc engine producing 19 horsepower makes GPX Demon GR200R a worthy competitor. The segment has a decent performance and attractive styling at a more affordable price.
Suzuki Gixxer SF
Slightly less powerful with a 155cc engine, the Suzuki Gixxer SF is fuel efficient and comfortable. It’s regarded as a smooth ride quality perfect for daily commuting.
KTM RC 200
On the other hand, the KTM RC 200 performs with a more track focused package with 25.4 bhp power output. Although it isn't quite as smooth and comfortable as those cars, enthusiasts will appreciate its sharper handling and more aggressive riding position.
Conclusion
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 2025 gets welcome updates to existing popular model. Improved features, wider rear tyre and new electronics make it a compelling package for riders looking for performance and practicality. The competition is tough, but the RS200's blend of style, power and now enhanced technology puts it high on the podium in 200cc sports bike segment.

Is the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 just a sticker job?
10 January 2025 08:08I don't think it's quite fair to call it just a sticker job. The actual upgrades are the new digital console and LED taillights, even if they’re not groundbreaking. Really it's more of a refresh than a complete overhaul.
-
Will 2025 RS200 buyers like the new taillight design, or will it be a miss?
10 January 2025 08:08The new taillight is one that you might expect to see on a much cheaper bike. This was really a miss by Bajaj. The old design was unique and also recognizable.

10 January 2025 08:08It's not a dealbreaker, I don't think. The RS200 has always been a good performance for a good price. The cost would go up by adding USD forks.

User Reviews for Bajaj Pulsar
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat Drum
Honestly, the Pulsar 125 Split Seat feels like a younger sibling of the classic Pulsar. The styling is sharp, and it’s comfortable for both rider and pillion. But I wish it had a bit more torque for quicker overtakes. For daily use, though the mileage and build make it a great pick.
Bajaj Pulsar N150
The Bajaj Pulsar N150 strikes a balance between performance and practicality. Its 149.68cc engine delivers adequate power for urban commutes. The lightweight chassis enhances maneuverability, while the semi-digital console adds a modern touch. However, the lack of a rear disc brake is noticeable during hard braking.
Reasonable bike with easy commuting
TVS XL 100 is a per bike for those who have tight budget. It come under 50k price and best suitable for daily commute. I bought this bike for my gardener who’s living with us for more than 20 years. He is really happy for this gift, now he can use this for his part time. The mileage is very sufficient of 50kmpl. The built up quality is strong and durable. However the pick up is the biggest drawback for TVS XL 100. I must say, apart from pick up everything is good to go. It has very low maintenance as well.
Capable For Carrying Heavy Loads
The TVS XL 100 is a good low-budget two-wheeler that has a 99.7 cc engine. It can support a good amount of weight.
it delivers excellent mileage up to 60–70 km, and the starting price is Rs. 31,079. The metal body of the scooter ensures its durability and stability, it is best for daily rides as it is affordable for poor people as well. It can carry huge loads since it has the energy efficiency and a sturdy load carrier. Its spare parts and other equipment have low prices which makes it more affordable and easy to maintain.

Best Features: Power of NS200
