The YZF-R15S, based on the v3.0 model, was launched on November 17, 2021, offering a flatter single seat and different tail lamp and rear mudguard compared to the standard R15 v3.0. This variant was aimed at riders who prefer a more comfortable seating arrangement. I think this was a good move to cater to a broader range of rider preferences.

Yamaha launched the YZF-R15 v4.0 in India on September 21, 2021, which included features like Traction Control (TCR) and a quick-shifter. This model also retained the Deltabox frame and saw no significant changes in mechanical specifications but added advanced features. I believe these additions made the R15 one of the most feature-packed bikes in its class.

The YZF-R15 v3.0 also saw the launch of a streetfighter variation called the MT-15 in India on January 8, 2018. Unlike other markets, the Indian version of the MT-15 used a conventional telescopic fork instead of an inverted one. This move was likely to keep costs in check while maintaining the bikes overall performance. I think this was a smart move by Yamaha to cater to different segments of the market.

In 2017, Yamaha introduced the YZF-R15 v3.0, which included a new 155.1 cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. This update enhanced the bikes power and torque, making it more competitive in its class. The v3.0 also featured an inverted front suspension fork, all-LED lighting, and a full LCD instrument panel. I believe this was a crucial step in keeping the R15 relevant in the market.

its sporty driving style please suggest me for this threat and vote me for yes for yamaha r15 and no for ktm duke 200 i am concerned with both the bikes yamaha seems to lagy when compared to ktm i rode the yamaha from my seniors both the version and took test ride from ktm showroom so please suggest me guys which bike suits me.
