Vehicle Overview | Bajaj Pulsar CS200 is currently under the state of confusion as the bigger product from its lineup, CS400 has been named Dominar 400 by the company. If seen the same way, the CS200 will soon change to Dominar 200 and the motorcycle will carry the same 199.5 cc engine from the 200 Duke. Not just that, it will also get a reduced power output in order to suit the cruiser character of the motorcycle. The currently used engine on Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is good for 24.2 BHP at 9750 rpm and 18.6 Nm at 8000 rpm. As of now, there is no news about Dominar 200 anywhere in the Indian automobile market. |

Bajaj Dominar 200 Review
Overview
Bajaj has been one of the most active brands in the motorcycle industry, launching products at a fast pace. One Pulsar gets launched and one is planned for the future. This Pulsar mania has divided the categories of Pulsar's clearly and every rider has plenty of options according to his need. The talk has gone pretty far this time, with the rumours of a cruiser sport motorcycle with 200 cc displacement. Named as the CS 200, the bike is said to be a bit different from the CS 400. It is expected to be launched in India by March-April 2016.
With an all new design language, the new Pulsar CS200 is said to be a cruiser bike and finally, we will get a Pulsar with a lower seat height. The body seems to be lean and very well designed. The first look at the motorcycle defines its nature, it’s all new front headlight looks appealing and its bold front USD shocks adds to its aggressiveness. The totally new alloy wheels would make it a head turner for sure.
Pulsar CS 200 is expected with the same engine as other Pulsars, making it a nice sprinter. The weight seems to be on the lower end, making it a much preferable bike for aggressive riding. The 199.5 cc engine is expected to produce 24.2 BHP and 18.6 NM, with some possible tuning from Bajaj. Triple spark technology would be used on this motorcycle, along with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The 6-speed gearbox will remain the same as other 200 cc Pulsars.
The motorcycle is expected with a 300 mm butterfly disc brake for the front and 230 mm for the rear. The suspension at the back remains the monoshock with piggy back canister whereas the front gets an all new USD suspension, with a bold appeal added to it. The 17 inch tyre set will remain the same as that of Pulsar RS200.
The Pulsar CS200 is expected in a non-ABS and ABS variant, with an expected price tag of INR 1,05,000 for the non-abs model. The shades would most probably be the same as that of Pulsar AS200, with a sticker free approach.
