FAQs

Most Popular FAQs for Bajaj Avenger
  • Will the Bajaj Avenger 400 be a game-changer in the Indian cruiser market?

    18 December 2024 07:00

Absolutely! The Avenger 400 could be exactly what the Indian market needs. It'll offer more power than the 220 without the insane price tag of bigger bikes. Perfect for those wanting to upgrade.

  • So how would an Avenger 400 sit in the family photo of the current Indian cruiser market?

    18 December 2024 05:33

The cool cousin showing up at the family reunion would be an Avenger 400. That could slot right in between the smaller 350cc cruisers that some might find a bit underpowered and the pricier 650cc options that are out of reach for many. If you find the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 a little too tame, but can’t stretch to a 650, this Avenger 400 could well be the answer. It’s almost like the middle seat at the movies — not too close, not too far, just right. With the Avenger 400, Bajaj may have found the bike that will put balance in the Indian cruiser market.

  • Bajaj’s superhero origin story could have been the Avenger 400.

    18 December 2024 05:33

Bajaj's 'bitten by a radioactive spider' moment in the bike world could be launching the Avenger 400. That would prove that Bajaj is not the commuter bike company anymore — they can innovate and play in big leagues too. It's that nerdy kid in high school who comes in all cool and confident after summer break. Maybe the Avenger 400 says Bajaj, 'Hey, we can do fun and exciting too and we're not just about practical rides!' It could even provoke a whole new generation of Bajaj fans to whom the brand will look completely different.

  • What is the reason Bajaj is treating its 400cc engine like a hidden treasure?

    18 December 2024 05:33

It's as if, Bajaj found the golden egg, but forgot to make an omelet! They have this wonderful 400cc engine from the Dominar, but they don’t seem to be sharing the love. Perhaps they're being especially careful after the Dominar didn't quite meet the expectations they’d had. Or maybe they’re too taken up with partner brands to include their own in the mix. Bike enthusiasts are scratching their heads wondering why Bajaj aren’t making the most of this awesome engine either way. Imagine having the secret recipe for the world’s best cookie and then only baking one batch per year!

  • A Triumph Avenger 400? So what’s all this gossip?

    18 December 2024 05:33

Just like that game of telephone we used to play as kids where you whisper something to the next person and it changes as it goes, the "Triumph Avenger 400" rumors have become hotter and hotter. Unfortunately it’s probably just wishful thinking by fans who are daydreaming about the sexy Triumph design combined with the practicality of the Avenger. It’s just fun to think of a British Indian love child cruiser, but if Triumph does anything in this space, it’ll likely be its own thing, not a rehashed Avenger. In the bike world, stranger things have happened, though!

  • Could Bajaj’s ticket to the cool kids’ table be the Avenger 400?

    18 December 2024 05:33

Absolutely! Bajaj's VIP pass to the premium bike club could be the Avenger 400. It would be a huge jump from the current 220cc model and would demonstrate to everyone that Bajaj can play with the big boys in the middle capacity cruiser game. In some ways it's Bajaj's chance to flex its muscles and say, 'Hey, we can make premium bikes, too.' And just like they did with the Dominar in the sports touring category. Bajaj's Avenger 400 could change its image from a reliable commuter bike maker to a serious lifestyle segment player if they play their cards right.

  • So how could the Avenger 400 put a spanner in Bajaj's works with Triumph?

    18 December 2024 05:33

Ooh, this could get juicy! Triumph's lineup might have some friendly competition with the Avenger 400. It’s kind of like when you and your best friend both like someone, it can be awkward, but it’s also exciting! But, Bajaj will need to do some clever maneuvering to make sure that the Avenger 400 doesn't start taking away Triumph's thunder while also taking its slice of the cruiser pie. We don’t know, but there might even be some Triumph DNA to be found in the new Avenger. That could lead some pretty interesting "family dinners" between Bajaj and Triumph executives!

  • What wild features are Avenger fans dreaming of for the 400cc version?

    18 December 2024 05:33

This is kid Christmas list dreaming big for Avenger fans! They want something more than a larger engine. You want modern goodies like a rear disc brake with ABS for better stopping power, a slip assist clutch to make city riding easy, and maybe a little tech upgrade like a snazzy digital display. And oh, improved ergonomics and suspension for those long highway trips as well. Some are fantasizing about ride modes or traction control! What they want is their Avenger to be a grown up but still maintain the cool, laid back vibe – kind of like a surfer dude that became a tech millionaire unexpectedly.

  • How was an Avenger 400 able to crash the Indian cruiser party?

    18 December 2024 05:33

Imagine an Avenger 400 coming into the cruiser scene like a rockstar! Maybe it's the Goldilocks bike, not too small like the 220cc version, not too pricey like some big cruisers. Its likely competitive pricing and beefed up power mean it could be the go to bike for riders looking to upgrade from smaller bikes or those wanting a capable cruiser without selling a kidney. In fact, it may even make some of the bigger players nervous! The Avenger 400 might just shake things up by providing that perfect power, comfort, and affordability balance that’s been missing from the market.

  • Is Bajaj playing the George R.R. Martin with the Avenger 400?

    18 December 2024 05:33

Totally! This is Bajaj and the Avenger 400, taking so long and working on it so slowly that it's like they're writing "The Winds of Winter." They’re stuck in this weird place where the current models aren’t selling badly enough to scrap, but not well enough to warrant a big update. They’re busy playing with their fancy new friends like KTM, Husqvarna and Triumph. The cool kids are having a good time hanging out with the cool kids and they've forgotten their old pal Avenger! At this point it's a mystery if the Avenger 400 is just a myth or if it will ever see the light of day as fans are left wondering.

Totally Actual Review About Best Cruiser Bike Under 1 Lac Budget

Version Reviewed - Avenger street 150 Purchased As - Brand new (01-01-2016) Distance Covered - 5538 Km till date (26-28-2016) Fuel Economy - 50 kmpl (Totally run in city traffic) Good - Looks, performance, handling, comfort, safety. Bad - No rear disc brake. No kick. I purchased my brand new avenger 150 street in 1st jan 2016 and till date I already clocked It around 5500 km done total running in Kanpur city Only. Exterior Aggressive front look and cool side look although rear tyre is small but decent could use a day light running lamp. Engine Performance: 14 PS power is good you can feel it when you accelerate it easily takes pick up (Not great as Apache, Gixxer) but even after you have reached triple speed figure effortless easy to drive in traffic and fun to cruise on highway. I tested the top speed of my avenger 150 twice on highway. at first it clock 112 km/hr and after second service it clocks at 115 km/hr. Fuel Economy: This is the best feature of this bike. and the only reason to submit my review also. before 1st service I got an average of around 35 kmpl in city. after 1st service mileage increased to 40-45 kmpl. But after 2nd service it reached to 55 kmpl in the hard city traffic. Guys believe me currently it giving me a healthy 55 kmpl mileage in a tight city traffic. I also tested mileage 3 times after 2nd service from reserve to reserve I take 100 rs fuel each time and my bike covered 78km, 81km, 80km on the three testing while the price of petrol in Kanpur is 65 Rs/ltr. Ride Quality & Handling: Ride Quality is very good you don't get tired even after long city driving. Handling is very good very reactive and cornering can be done with confidence. only the turning radius is too large compare to other. it creates some problem in city traffic. Final Words: Overall a very very good package for a fair price deal under the 1 lac segment.

I bought the Avenger 150 model last week. The bike as a whole is absolutely fantastic. I found the short pick-up to be a bit less, but that's not what you are looking for in this bike, & in no way that is a disadvantage. Comfort level, top notch .. balance, top notch. Also, the problem with a big turning radius owing to much wider handle-bar for the Cruise model has been largely taken care of in the Street models. In short, if you want to go for speed, you have the Pulsars .. for everything else, you have the Avengers.

Best Features: Suspension, comparatively lighter chassis, back wheel-base.

Totally very good. But only colour where I disappointed. Bike has amazing seat comfort and looks. While riding the bike really I feel like king.

Best Features: Seating Position

Pros: Amazing Looks

Cons: I expected more colours but only colour in Street 150 which makes me nervous
