MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW | |
Vehicle Overview | Suzuki GSX-S150 is the naked version of GSX-R150 and uses the same engine as the faired cousin. It generates maximum power of 18.90 Bhp @ 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 14 NM @ 9000 rpm. GSX-S150 comes in 4 different shades while looses the side fairing for beefier tank shrouds and aerodynamic front cowl with minimum fairing and the same LED headlight. The chances of launch of GSX-S150 are low in the Indian market while if Suzuki prefers local manufacturing, it would be definitely launched in the country. It would be the sole 150cc naked bike with both fuel injection and liquid cooling in its segment. |

Suzuki GSX-S150 Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
The Suzuki GSX-S150 is one of the most popular bikes in the South-East Asian markets. The design of the bike is quite sporty and inspiring, ensuring that the buyers have the best that they can buy for the money they are paying. Another thing that makes the bike so popular is its powerful engine and the sporty riding position. The only thing that the bike lacks is the absence of the Anti-Brake locking System (ABS), and the uncomfortable pillion seat is yet another thing that the customers complain about.
This naked bike is powered by a 147.3cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injection, DOHC, 4-stroke, 4-valve petrol engine that helps it produce a maximum power of 18.9 bhp at 10,500 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm at 9000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox that allows the bike to produce a mileage of 45 kmpl and a top speed of more than 130 kmph. The fuel to the engine is supplied through a fuel injection system, making it even more efficient. The electric start on the bike makes it easy to ignite the fuel to start up the bike.
The Suzuki GSX-S150 is built around a diamond chassis and there are a lot of features on the bike like an LED headlamp and a maintenance free battery. The instrument cluster on the bike is all digital, with the various indicators that provide the rider with adequate information. The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes and tubeless tires at both ends. The suspension duties on the bike are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a mono shock at the rear. If the bike is ever launched in India, it will feature the ABS to keep up with the safety standards that are enforced in the country.
