The Hero Xtreme 160R Connected is a well-rounded motorcycle that combines strong performance, comfortable ride quality, and modern features. The new 4-valve engine is a significant upgrade, offering 16.6 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of torque, which translates into quicker acceleration and better mid-range performance. The bike features a 5-speed gearbox and comes with single-channel ABS, though the lack of dual-channel ABS is a notable omission. The Connected variant includes Bluetooth connectivity with features like geofencing and navigation alerts, which enhance the riding experience. The ride quality is plush, thanks to the suspension, although some might find it a bit too soft for sporty riding. Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Xtreme 160R Connected is a significant improvement over its predecessor, especially with the introduction of the 4-valve engine. This bike feels quicker and more responsive, making it a joy to ride both in city traffic and on open roads. The engines tractability at low speeds is impressive, and the new gear ratios enhance its acceleration without compromising top speed. However, there are a few niggles, such as the lack of dual-channel ABS and the odd positioning of the side stand, which can be inconvenient for shorter riders. Despite these minor issues, the Xtreme 160R 4V is a fun, agile, and comfortable ride, making it a strong contender in the 160cc segment. The addition of Bluetooth connectivity features like geofencing and navigation alerts in the Connected variant is a welcome move, although its puzzling that these features are not available on the top Pro variant.
Price
The Hero Xtreme 160R Connected variant is priced at around INR 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which places it in a competitive bracket within the 160cc segment. On-road prices can vary depending on the state and local taxes, but you can expect to pay around INR 1.45 lakh to INR 1.55 lakh once all the additional costs such as registration, insurance, and road tax are factored in. Given the upgrades and features, the price seems justified, especially considering the performance and comfort it offers. However, the absence of certain features like dual-channel ABS and the segregation of connectivity features and USD forks across variants might make some buyers weigh their options carefully.
Hero Xtreme 160R Connected on road price is Rs 1.53 lakh in Delhi, Rs 1.58 lakh in Mumbai, Rs 1.55 lakh in Kolkata and Rs 1.57 lakh in Chennai. The prices mentioned here are approximate and we suggest you contact your nearest Hero dealership to get the exact on-road price quote in your city.

Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price |
Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

The Hero Xtreme 125R impresses with its aggressive styling and peppy performance. The 124.7cc engine delivers adequate power for urban riding. Fuel efficiency is commendable, though real-world figures fall short of claimed 66 kmpl. Build quality could be improved, but it's a compelling option in its segment.
I especially like this color in this segment and the overall connected features are awesome. Good sporty look.
Good, but the real mileage is around 30-35 kmpl. I have been using it for the last 1 year, and the comfort is outstanding.
The braking system for a good comfortable ride continues 300 km so comfortable.
It has excellent performance for riding good pickup and nice suspension. Good for mileage.
