But is the Nissan Kicks really a good value for your money, or would you be better off spending a little more on a competitor?
06 January 2025 08:04
It depends on what you value. The Kicks, if you don’t mind having the latest tech and safety features but don’t want to pay top dollar, is tough to beat.
Can you forgive the quirks of the Nissan Juke for its fuel efficiency?
06 January 2025 07:58
Fuel economy in the real world is disappointing. But I'm not seeing it, Nissan talks up the efficiency. But it’s definitely not enough to make up for the cramped interior and the weird CVT.
Is paying a premium for the regular Seltos worth it when you can get the X Line exclusive features?
03 January 2025 12:27
The cool features of the X-Line are there, but I'd prefer that those be available as individual options versus as a whole package. I want to be able to pick and choose what I want.
Does anyone really get fooled by the Kia Carnival’s SUV inspired design?
03 January 2025 11:38
It’s not about fooling anybody — it’s about making minivans cool again. What the Carnival does is that it does that without pretending to be something it’s not.
Should you pay the premium for the Kia Carens X Line over lower trims?
03 January 2025 11:34
I honestly don’t think it’s worth it. Most of the important features are already included on the lower Luxury Plus trim, and the X Line additions are almost entirely cosmetic. But that extra cash could just as well have been put towards accessories or saved for further maintenance.
Overall package how does the Kia Carens X Line stand versus the Toyota Innova Hycross?
03 January 2025 11:34
It all comes down to what your needs are. If you care more about space and fuel efficiency, the Hycross is the one to get. But if you are looking for a more stylish and tech loaded option, the Carens X Line is the way to go.
Do you think the AI enhanced driving features the Ioniq 9 will have are a step towards full autonomy or just fancy cruise control?
02 January 2025 11:07
I think it's somewhere in the middle. These AI features aren’t full autonomy, but they learn and adapt in ways that basic cruise control never could. It’s laying the groundwork for future autonomous systems.
What do you get for the additional cost of the Hyundai Elantra's tech package?
02 January 2025 10:24
I believe it depends upon how long you want to have the car. If it's a lease or you're looking to sell in a couple years the tech package may help with resale value. I would definitely be worried about repair costs on this thing after it's out of warrenty for long-term ownership.
So how do you compare the brand trust and reliability of other brand like, the Toyota Innova with the BYD eMAX 7?
02 January 2025 06:29
Let’s be real, most people who are buying a Rs 30 lakh+ MPV don’t care about reliability too much. The eMAX 7 delivers all the latest tech and features, which is what they want. It's not the same market as the Innova buyer.
Will the eKUV100’s design be an attraction for young Indian buyers?
31 December 2024 10:19
I think it's cute! It has a sort of quirky charm that first time buyers might find appealing.
Does the e2o Plus' safety features give you the confidence to drive on Indian roads?
31 December 2024 10:14
It's as safe as you drive it. I keep to city limits and drive defensively. In chaotic traffic, the car's agility actually is a help in avoiding accidents. I wouldn't want to be in it during a major collision, though.
How do you take on the established global EV brands with the Mahindra BE.05?
31 December 2024 09:39
I'm skeptical. The tech is the name of the game with EVs, and Mahindra doesn't have deep pockets to spend on R&D like the big, global players. I think they're going to make a decent car, but I don't think they'll be class leading in any way.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?
31 December 2024 09:03
The price isn't youth friendly but the design is cool. Those who can afford it often want something more luxurious, and those who can't afford it like the look, but can't get it.
The Maruti NEXA Invicto is just a rebadged Toyota, or does it have something unique to offer?
31 December 2024 08:56
It's definitely not a rebadge. That front grille and Nexa style LED DRLs give the Invicto its own identity, and Maruti has put effort into that. The trim and color schemes are different on the inside as well. Plus, many buyers also prefer a wider service network of Maruti.
Do you have to give up some driving dynamics to get the Baleno’s space and comfort?
31 December 2024 07:39
I do miss the sharp handling sometimes, as they come from a Honda. The extra space in the Baleno makes up for it, and I've never had the extra space in the Baleno when I've been hauling stuff or have passengers.
Is the Toyota Vitz’s popularity to its detriment, or is it a wise long term investment?
31 December 2024 07:28
I’ve found that Vitzes tend to hold their value pretty well. Because they have a reputation for reliability, people are always on the lookout for used ones. It's a safe bet.
Are people right about the Toyota Vitz being so reliable?
31 December 2024 07:28
It’s reliable, yes, but it’s not perfect. Some models have 3-cylinder engines that can sound noisy and get down on power. I’ve also heard there are issues with the hybrid system in newer models. Reliable? Yes. Flawless? No way.
Is the Toyota Vitz interior too basic or just right for the money?
31 December 2024 07:28
For the price, it's spot on. When you pay peanuts you get what you pay for – a reliable, no frills car. If you’re looking for fancy interiors, you’re better off going elsewhere or being prepared to pay more.
Is the Toyota Vitz's small size a safety disadvantage or is it a safety advantage?
31 December 2024 07:28
Small doesn't mean unsafe. As with many other Subaru vehicles, the Vitz is a safe bet for safe driving. It is also smaller, which makes it more manoeuvrable, and therefore less likely to get involved in an accident in the first place.
Is the trade off in power and performance with the Toyota Vitz worth the extra fuel efficiency?
31 December 2024 07:28
It depends on your needs. It’s great for fuel efficiency for commuting and errands. If you do a lot of highway driving or live in a hilly part of the world, however, you might prefer something with more grunt.
