How do you find the Yamaha FZS-FI V3.0 in wet conditions?
15 January 2025 08:18
I travel to work year round, rain or shine. I've never had the FZ let me down in wet weather. It’s just a matter of changing your riding style and being more cautious.
Should you modify the Yamaha FZS-FI V3.0, or keep it stock?
15 January 2025 08:18
It depends on your goal. If you’re wanting to stand out, then yeah, mod away. If performance is what you’re after, you won’t get the results you’re looking for on an FZ.
If the KTM 490 Adventure was released, how much would you be willing to pay for it?
15 January 2025 07:35
Not more than $7,000. But at the end of the day, it’s still just a middleweight bike. There was anything more, and you're in 650cc territory from other brands.
What would you want to see on the KTM 490 Adventure to make it unique?
15 January 2025 07:35
I would really like to see a more sophisticated traction control system that still allows you to go as hard as possible off-road but does not interfere too much.
Should you mod a KTM 125 Adventure or save your money for a bigger bike?
15 January 2025 06:48
I say mod it. You’ll learn some skills that will always be valuable, and you’ll have more fun even if you move to a bigger bike later.
How far can you really drive on the Chetak 2903 versus what’s advertised?
14 January 2025 11:03
Bajaj should be more transparent in how they calculate range, I think. I get nowhere near the real world experience that they advertise, particularly in the summer when using the cooling features.
Should you pay the premium for the Bajaj Chetak 3501 TecPac over the standard model?
14 January 2025 10:58
It all really depends on your area. If you have Bajaj service in your area that is reliable, you might skip the TecPac. Otherwise, that extended warranty could save your life.
Is the Chetak 3501’s retro modern design on point or off for today’s young riders?
14 January 2025 10:51
I guess it’s clever marketing. Older folks who remember the original Chetak like the design, while younger riders like it for its vintage aesthetics. The scooters are like the Mini Cooper – classic but cool.
Is the lack of ABS on the Bajaj Blade 125 a deal breaker for you, safety conscious rider?
14 January 2025 07:50
City speeds are good enough for CBS. If you need ABS to ride a 125cc aggressively, you’re doing it wrong.
How long of a distance do you get on the KTM 690 SMC-R?
14 January 2025 07:50
I’d rather tour on a 690 than a big, heavy adventure bike. It’s much more fun and can take anything you throw at it.
What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had riding a KTM 990 Super Duke R?
14 January 2025 07:30
I mean, I guess just commute through the city honestly. It's so much fun to have the torque and agility even in mundane traffic.
The G 580 Edition One is all that and more, but is it worth the hype, or do you just pay for a status symbol?
13 January 2025 12:30
Hands down a overpriced status symbol. The range is disappointing for the money and let's be honest, most buyers will never take it off road. It's just a way for rich people to get their eco-friendly on, while they show off at the same time.
What modification or accessory have you put on your Super Meteor 650 that makes it better?
13 January 2025 09:38
I put a small flyscreen on and it made a world of difference to wind protection without spoiling the look of the bike. No more buffeting at highway speeds was one of the benefits.
Will the Royal Enfield Roadster 350 be able to bring in the young riders to the company?
13 January 2025 07:01
Young riders are interested in fuel efficiency and easy maneuverability in city. If the Roadster does as it promises, age will be irrelevant.
Tell us about the most memorable experience you’ve had (or heard about) with a Royal Enfield Machismo 500.
13 January 2025 06:52
Charity ride, used my Machismo. We raised more money than we expected because of how much attention the thumping sound drew. Everywhere we stopped, it was a conversation starter.
What mods do you need for the RC 390 GP?
13 January 2025 06:10
I opted for better highway cruising by swapping the sprockets. It sacrificed a bit of acceleration, but it's way more comfortable now.
One thing that wasn’t obvious until you ran into a few people who had owned one of the Hunter 350 is that, even with Royal Enfield’s notorious recent reliability then and consistent records now, the new Hunter seems even worse.
10 January 2025 12:16
It’s reliable if you stay on top of maintenance, I think. I’ve seen a lot of the issues from people not riding according to the service schedule or pushing the bike too hard too soon before the break in period is completed.
What’s the biggest surprise or oddity you’ve found in owning the KTM RC 200 GP?
10 January 2025 10:40
This can really take its toll on your wrists and back. To ride comfortably for long periods, you need to build up core strength.
How long can you go on a KTM RC 200 GP for compared to other sport bikes in its class?
10 January 2025 10:40
It's not a tourer; it's a sport bike. Long rides don't offer much comfort if that's what you're looking for, and you're looking at the wrong category of bikes.
What does the extra cost get you with the KTM Duke 890 R's electronics package?
10 January 2025 10:16
If you can afford it, the R is the one that I would recommend. You will not use all the features right now, but you will enjoy them when you are good.
