It should appeal to budget tourers and beginners, I reckon. If you are getting into motorcycle touring and want to do it without breaking the bank, this is a great starting point.

No, the Sherpa 350 isn’t a rebadged Classic. As far as I can tell, it has its own frame and styling. It shares some parts bin stuff, sure, but that’s just smart manufacturing.

I think it's a bit of both. It's got the same 350cc engine, but it looks more adventure focused in the ergonomics and overall design. RE is trying to fill the gap between the Hunter and the Himalayan, it’s like.

Honestly, I'm skeptical. As with RE, there’s a tendency to recycle designs. I don’t see any real innovation until then, I’m gonna assume it’s just another variant to milk the 350cc platform.

You guys are not getting it. With modern tech, the Sherpa is bringing back a classic name. It’s not about being completely new, it’s about respecting RE’s heritage and moving forward.

I think RE made a smart move. It’s a bike for people who want the reliability of a Classic but with more versatility. It isn’t groundbreaking, but that’s fine.

Let's be real, it's probably 30 new stuff and 70% Classic 350. However, that 30% could swing it in terms of how it rides, and how it feels. Until I can test ride one I’m reserving judgement.

We are underestimating RE here, I think. Perhaps they're the way they test new ideas before putting them into higher end models. The devil's in the details, but it might look similar.

It depends on the type of touring. For mixed terrain Scrambler might be better.
