Maintenance costs of the Royal Enfield Classic 250 compared to its siblings will be how?
For most Indian motorcycle owners, it’s the maintenance costs that are a major factor. Introduction of the Classic 250 prompts the question: How will the upkeep expenses of the Classic 250 compare with other Royal Enfield models? Yet others believe that the smaller engine will help with maintenance costs as well as fuel economy making it a better choice for those on a budget. Others are wondering if this is an opportunity for Royal Enfield to introduce new, perhaps more expensive components. Potential buyers and mechanics are also interested in knowing how available and how much it will cost to get spare parts for this new model.

I hope this is an opportunity for them to bring in new technology that will actually reduce long term maintenance costs.

The real question is: reliability. Maintenance costs don't really matter because if you build it well, it's going to break down less.

It might be cheaper to maintain, but I bet insurance will be about the same as the 350. It may not save you all that much.

Don't bet on it. This might be an excuse for RE to jack up parts prices. People will pay for the brand – they know.

It should be cheaper. Less wear and tear, smaller engine. Also, RE parts are already pretty cheap.
