It’s fine as long as you’re not expecting KTM levels of off road performance. It’s great for fire roads and easy trails.

The build quality is another level from Triumph. The extra cost is definitely worth it for the premium feel.

I'd go for the RE. It has more tuning potential and should have a bigger engine.

Overall the Triumph has better components. Suspension and brakes are a step up.

It all depends on what you want. The Triumph feels more like a styled road bike and the RE feels more like a proper scrambler.

The long term maintenance of the RE will be cheaper. It’s easier to get parts and service.

The second is more practical in daily use. It has a bigger fuel tank and is most likely more fuel efficient.

It’s definitely more than a reskin. The whole feel of the bike is totally different because the ergonomics and riding position are completely different.

It's the same bike, just with some fancy new plastics, come on. RE is just trying to squeeze all they can out of the 450 platform.

I've ridden both and they are very different. In city traffic, the Scrambler is much more nimble.

It's a smart move by RE. This gives more options for buyers because not everyone wants a full on ADV bike.

They are there, but I'm not so sure they're enough to justify the price. You could probably mod a Himalayan to be pretty similar.
