On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.

TVS Ronin SS Review

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

TVS launched the Ronin bike in our country in three variants called the Ronin SS, DS, and TD. The TVS Ronin is a scrambler bike that is designed for Indian bike lovers and it boasts an impeccable blend of design cues from the cruiser and roadster styles as well. This retro-style motorcycle is offered to entice people who love to buy a bike with modern specs and features but in a typical avatar. The colour scheme of the SS variant consists of two shades named Magma Red, and Lightning Black.

To begin with the cosmetic aspect of the bike, it gets a wide back-pulled handlebar that makes the ride comfortable with a perfect sitting position. There is a round headlamp that has a T-face pilot lamp that not only looks unique but also sheds enough illumination. Instead of many contrasting elements, the TVS Ronin gets blacked-out body parts that appear elegant. However, the custom exhaust gets an aluminium touch. In addition, the bike gets an all-LED tail lamp, and the rest of the design is simplistic.

The instrument console of the bike is an LCD unit, which is circular in shape and is not a huge one. But it provides a host of useful information for the rider, such as speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip meters, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, distance to empty, average speed, and so on. There are two ABS modes: rain and urban, that are made available on the instrument console for an enhanced experience. The instrument cluster is pairable with your smartphone through Bluetooth connectivity, and you can receive calls and SMS and control the music during the ride.

Powering the TVS Ronin SS is a 225.9cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC engine that comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. This engine uses fuel injection technology and churns out 20.4 HP at 7750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of torque at 3750 rpm. The SS variant comes with a single-channel ABS system. The suspension duties are done by a 41mm USD front and a mono-shock with a 7-step adjustable preload for better handling the road stress. The braking chores are done by a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
