USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Karizma 400, though still in the stages of being patented and anticipated for a 2026 launch, promises to be a significant upgrade in the Karizma series. With a new 400cc liquid-cooled engine expected to produce around 30bhp of peak power and 35Nm of peak torque, this bike is set to compete with other sub-400cc bikes in India. The addition of features like a six-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, and advanced tech such as a full-colour TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, makes it an attractive option for those seeking a blend of performance and modern amenities. However, until its official launch, potential buyers will have to weigh the anticipation against the current market offerings.
Price
The Hero Karizma 400 is expected to be priced around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This pricing positions it competitively against other bikes in the same segment, such as the Triumph Speed 400 and the TVS Apache RR 310. The on-road price, which includes additional costs like registration, insurance, and other taxes, could vary from state to state but is likely to start from around Rs 2.85 lakh onwards. This pricing makes the Karizma 400 an appealing option for those looking for a powerful and feature-rich bike without breaking the bank.

Mileage
Tuesday, 26 November 2024 10:18 AM The mileage of the Hero Karizma 400 is expected to be somewhat lower compared to its smaller engine counterparts, given the larger 400cc engine. While exact mileage figures are not yet available, it is reasonable to expect around 25-30 kmpl, considering the increased power output. This, combined with a potentially larger fuel tank, should still offer a decent driving range, making it a viable choice for both city and highway riding.

Bought it in April 2015. I have changed many important parts that do not even need a replacement in bikes older than 10 years. Some have even been replaced for 3 times in these years.

Best Features: Nothing is best

Pros: I was hooked to those looks.

Cons: fuel pump, bad fuel injector, worst part availability.
