2023 Honda CB300F Formidable streetfighter is a uniquely designed stylish bike. It gets an elegant front facia that adds to the masculine body of the bike. Honda has painted the bike in bright and lively shades that are perfectly blended with graphics on the body of the CB300F. The all-LED headlight unit is offered for better illumination. The tapered handlebar provides the rider comfortable riding stance.

Also, the ignition key is positioned on the fuel tank for better reach. Well-cushioned split seat and uniquely designed hazard indicators not only offer it a perfect appearance but also add to the practicality of the bike. Honda CB300F Instrument Console

The instrument cluster in the new Honda CB300F is a fully digital LCD unit that displays plenty of useful stats. This console has 5 level brightness adjustment that makes it easily readable. It provides data like tachometer, trip meter, speedometer, fuel gauge, gearshift indicator and more. Apart from that, there is a Bluetooth connectivity feature, a Honda Smartphone Voice control system and HSTC features, however, these are available with the top-spec Deluxe Pro variant only.

Honda CB300F Engine & Gearbox

Powering the new Honda CB300F is a 293.52cc, 4-stroke, SI, oil-cooled engine that uses a PGM-Fi fuel system and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is designed to belt out 24.1 HP at 7500 rpm and 25.6 Nm at 5500 rpm. The starting method in the bike is self-start which is common in modern bikes.

Honda CB300F Brakes, Suspension & Tyres

Braking duties in the 2023 Honda CB300F are assigned to 276mm disc brakes at the front and 220mm disc brakes at the rear. The braking system is further assisted by dual-channel ABS for a better driving experience. As far as suspension is concerned, on the front, there is upside-down telescopic suspension and the rear end gets a mono-shock suspension.

This 5-step adjustable mono-shock suspension delivers a smooth riding experience with enhanced stability and manoeuvrability. The bike rides on 110/70R-17M/C 54H unit at the front and 150/60R-17M/C 66H unit at the rear. The 150mm wide rear tire is designed to offer a great grip during the rides on any terrain from street corners to open roads.

Honda has offered the new CB300F in two variants called DLX and DLX Pro. As for colour options, there are three shades to choose from. These include Sports Red, Mat Axis Grey Metallic, and Mat Marvel Blue Metallic.

Honda CB300F Ex-showroom Price & On-Road Price

At present, the starting ex-showroom price of the 2023 Honda CB300F DLX variant starts at Rs 2,26,722 while the CB300F DLX PRO variant starts at Rs 2,29,722. On the other hand, the on-road price in Delhi for this DLX variant is Rs 2,60,957 while the DLX PRO variant is Rs 2,64,410. The price remains the same even for the different colour options.

The ex-showroom price is the vehicle's production cost + dealer/seller profit + GST (Goods and Services Tax) + transportation charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). The On-Road Price, on the other hand, is the real amount you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle roadworthy. It includes the ex-showroom price in your city, as well as RTO charges (vehicle registration), a one-time road tax, and insurance charges.

Honda CB300F Competitors

In the Indian two-wheeler market, the new Honda CB300F faces competition from KTM Duke 250, Bajaj Domianr 250, and Suzuki Gixxer 250 since it is less powerful than these bikes. At the same time, it’s quite weird that with this price point, the bike intends to lock horns with the Bajaj Dominar 400. However, a person can buy a more powerful BMW 300R, KTM 390 Duke or its own sibling Honda CB300R by spending just Rs 50000 more.

Verdict - Should You Buy Honda CB300F or not?

2023 Honda CB300F is another good offering by the brand. No doubt that the bike is stylish and loaded with advanced features but the power and torque figures are quite less compared to its rivals. Also, if we talk about its price range, the buyers have better options by just adding a few more bucks. Still, if want to buy a bike with good looks and of course a Honda bike, you can go for it.
