USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS is a significant leap forward in the Pulsar series, offering a compelling blend of performance, style, and safety. The bikes refined 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which produces 24.2bhp and 18.6Nm of torque, provides a smooth and predictable power delivery, especially in the mid and top-end ranges. The addition of fuel injection enhances the throttle response and overall engine refinement. The single-channel ABS, though only on the front wheel, is a valuable safety feature that inspires confidence, especially under panic braking conditions. While the bike is slightly heavy due to the fairing and ABS unit, it handles well and maintains a comfortable riding position, making it suitable for both city rides and occasional highway cruises. Overall, the RS200 is a well-rounded package that caters to riders seeking a balance of performance, comfort, and value.
Price
In India, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS is priced competitively to appeal to the performance-oriented segment. The ex-showroom price typically ranges between 1.5 lakh to 1.7 lakh, depending on the region and any local taxes. On-road prices, including registration, insurance, and other costs, can go up to around 1.8 lakh to 2.0 lakh. This pricing makes the RS200 an attractive option for those looking for a feature-packed sports bike without breaking the bank. The value-for-money proposition is strong, considering the bikes performance, safety features, and overall build quality.
Latest Updates
Saturday, 27 April 2024 05:54 AM The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is expected to launch in India soon, featuring several key updates. These include a new fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, LED headlamps, and new color schemes. The bike will retain its 199.5cc, liquid-cooled engine producing 24.1bhp and 18.7Nm of torque. I think these updates will make the RS200 more competitive in the market.
Saturday, 27 April 2024 03:38 PM The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is expected to see a marginal price hike due to the new features and updates. Despite this, it is likely to remain one of the most affordable fully-faired bikes in its class, competing with the Hero Karizma XMR and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. I believe the updated features will justify the slight price increase.
Thursday, 18 April 2024 10:26 PM Bajaj is planning to introduce USD front forks on the 2024 Pulsar RS200, which should enhance the bikes stability and handling. Additionally, the bike might get traction control and ABS ride modes, similar to those on the Pulsar N250. This could significantly improve the riding experience. I believe these mechanical upgrades will be a game-changer for the RS200.
Tuesday, 16 April 2024 09:14 PM The upcoming 2024 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is anticipated to have a more comfortable riding posture, thanks to its slightly upright handlebars. This design makes it less tiring for long rides and daily commuting. The bike also boasts a big-bike appeal, which is rare in the sub-250cc category. I think this comfort aspect will attract more buyers.
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 12:19 PM The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS is currently priced at Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it a value-for-money proposition in the sports bike segment. The bike features a 199.5cc engine, dual-channel ABS, and a digital instrument console. Its extensive service network also adds to its appeal. I believe the pricing is one of its strongest selling points.
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 06:51 PM The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been praised for its comfortable riding posture, which is less aggressive compared to other sports bikes like the Yamaha R15 and KTM RC 200. This makes it more suitable for daily riding and long trips. The bikes design, although unchanged for a decade, still offers a big-bike appeal. I think this balance between comfort and style is hard to find in other bikes.
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 02:27 PM Bajaj Autos extensive service network is a significant advantage for the Pulsar RS200, making maintenance and ownership more user-friendly compared to competitors like Yamaha and KTM. This wide network ensures that parts and service are readily available, reducing downtime. I think this is a crucial factor for many buyers.
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 06:59 AM The engine of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, while powerful for a 200cc motorcycle, can feel a bit gruff at higher speeds with some vibrations. However, its acceleration is impressive, and the overall performance is still commendable. I believe that refining the engine further could make it even more appealing.
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 08:51 PM The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS features a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 24.5 PS and 18.7 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It also comes with dual-disc brakes and dual-channel ABS, ensuring good braking performance. I think the combination of power and safety features is well-balanced.
Wednesday, 30 August 2023 08:02 AM The current Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is available in five colors: Burnt Red, Pewter Grey, and White. The upcoming 2024 model is expected to introduce new color schemes and body graphics, which could enhance its visual appeal. I believe new colors can always attract fresh interest in a model.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 11:56 AM The mileage of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS is a crucial factor for potential buyers. With a 13-liter fuel tank, the bike is expected to deliver around 300-400 kilometers on a full tank, depending on riding conditions. Real-world mileage can vary, but users have reported an average of about 35-40 kmpl in mixed riding conditions. This makes the RS200 a reasonable choice for daily commuting and occasional long rides, keeping running costs manageable.

Vehicle Overview Pulsar RS200 ABS BS4 is the second variant from the RS lineup, sold along with the non-ABS variant for a premium of around INR 12,000. The bike comes with single channel ABS and now seems to be priced very close to the non-ABS version of Dominar 400. It uses the same 199.5cc engine as the other version, producing 24.2 BHP at 9750 rpm and 18.6 Nm at 8000 rpm. The bike rivals KTM RC200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 in its segment. Discussions and Questions Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS

Which bike should I buy between KTM RC200 and Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS?
02 January 2023 06:35
The KTM RC 200 is a performance oriented machine producing 24.65 BHP and 19.2 NM of torque. The gearbox is a 6-speed claw unit and the bike weighs 154 kg. It comes with USD front telescopic forks and a very aggressive seating position. On the other hand, the Pulsar RS 200 comes with the same engine producing 24.2 BHP and 18.6 NM of torque. The gearbox here is also a 6-speed unit and the bike weighs 165 kg. The 11 kg difference and the use of more performance oriented parts make the KTM RC 200 an expensive option at INR 1.69 lakh whereas the RS200 comes with a relatively relaxed price tag of INR 1,32,000 for the ABS version. For regular riding, RS 200 is best whereas if you wish to ride on a track and love high performance, the RC 200 is the best option.
What is the price of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 ABS in Gujarat?

The other features of the fastest Pulsar include projector headlamps, LED tail lights, wide tyres and ABS(single channel).

It is much more better performance than Japanese :-p bikes like r15 and cbr150r. It is a clear winner around 1.5 lakh bike segment no one is competitive to Race Sport 200 (RS200)... if u want to bike with more speed, more power, more style, more comport, more specs all at low price just go for us RS200 i guarantee.......

I am from Nellore today me and my wife decided to go for a long ride then we planned to visit Penchalakona temple 100 kms from my residing place with some ghats. We simply touched 130+ speed at cruise position. When we bend forward to fuel tank speedometer @144 kms we enjoyed a lot not that much of vibration's even at top speed. We had so many hard turns on the way we managed those at 80+ speed . No words it has to feel on it.

Best Features: I like it's pickup.

Pros: Design, very smoothly touches it's top speed means I feel that how it goes 60 to 100 same way 100 to 140+ also no lag.

Cons: I fell numbness in my hands @ 120 - 140kms/hr ride for about 1 hr and I got right wrist pain I don't know why.?

Am Getting 28 KMPL

I have a brand new pulsar 135cc and at 552 KM, I refilled the full tank fuel in my bike; that was just after 1st service and after 760KM again refilled for full tank and required fuel was 7.32 Liters; So mileage is 760-552=208KM and 208/7.32= 28KM per liter ;; is it a normal thing to get such a low mileage for a new engine. Also when I fully refilled my tank 1st time, Petrol pump boy filled 8.45 Liters even there was some fuel in reserve and bike was also running properly so there was around one liter in tank that time … is it possible ??????? OR That's a trick played by pump boy????

Best Features: Speed is upto 108kmph

Pros: Look and speed

Cons: Mileage is 28 KMPL
