It uses a fuel injected, water cooled motor and weighs just 126 kg, without fluids. The aerodynamic design is shared with the GSX-R125 and seems fully inspired from the liter class GSX-R1000. GSX-R150 may take some time for its Indian market entry while offers 5 mouth watering shades in Indonesian market. GSX-R150 generates maximum power of 18.90 Bhp @ 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 14 NM @ 9000 rpm. The sport bike uses LED headlight, key-less ignition system and digital instrument console as its key features. The Suzuki GSX-R150 is surely expected to take the 150cc segment by a storm. It was unveiled in Indonesia and marked the comeback of the brand in the Asian countries. It will be more powerful than its Yamaha counterpart, and it looks more aggressive and better styled too. It will be more efficient than most bikes in the segment and is just as powerful as the most beastly bikes in the segment. The bike will be fully faired and looks amazing.
The GSX-R150 will be powered by a 147.3 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that puts out a maximum power of 19 hp at 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm at 8500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that puts out a combined certified mileage of 49 kmpl. It has a kerb weight of 131 kg and the performance will be just amazing. There are disc brakes on both the front and the rear ends of the bike to give an improved braking efficiency. However, the lack of ABS is disappointing. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks on the front and a mono-shock at the rear.
Suzuki claims that the bike has the best power-to-weight ratio and acceleration in its class but that will be tested once the bike comes to India. There is a multi-functional LCD instrumental panel along with other features such as LED headlamps, and a keyless ignition system. The bike is quite dependable and comfortable to ride. It can easily handle all the city traffic jams, and the track performance of the bike is just remarkable.

Mixed feelings about my GSX-8R. Love the looks and engine character, but the seat gets uncomfortable on long rides. Fuel efficiency isn't great getting only about 20 km/l in city traffic. Electronics package is good, but the quickshifter can be clunky at low speeds. Still it is a head-turner!
Amazing Bike
Yeah, its price is high but it is worth much more than that. It's amazing using the beast. I assure you that you will not regret the purchase. And yeah its mileage varies with speed but it is affordable. If you are a bike lover and want a beast for long roots or for short I may recommend this beast.
Best Bike
Best bike for the price... Nice sporty ride. Gear shifting is very soft. Nice pickup. This bike is for tall riders because short persons should bend for the handle bar...It will be difficult for long rides. And the service cost is reasonable and this bike is best for my daily uses and long trips. Finally, just buy it and enjoy the thrill.

new r15 is almost ready to launch with USD, ABS, and a bump in power. if the little gixxer had a aluminium swingarm, i would have fallen for it. fact remains that gixxer looks more like a proper sportsbike
