Is the Yamaha FZS V4 Deluxe worth paying extra for over standard FZS V4?
15 January 2025 08:43
I really don't think it's worth it. It's basically the same core riding experience, you're just paying extra for some bling and a nicer display. Keep your cash and opt for the standard version.
How does the Yamaha FZS V4 Deluxe cope with heavy traffic as compared to other bikes in the same class?
15 January 2025 08:43
In traffic, the FZS V4 Deluxe is a champ. It’s easy to weave through cars with its light clutch and nimble handling. A hell of a lot better than my old Apache.
Does the FZS Deluxe have reliability of a Yamaha?
15 January 2025 08:37
The new features such as Bluetooth connectivity have opened the doors to more possibilities of failures. For maximum reliability, stick to the standard FZ.
How good is the FZS Deluxe’s fuel efficiency as claimed by Yamaha?
15 January 2025 08:37
Of course, the claimed figures are achievable, if you really try. For normal, stress free riding you should expect about 10% less.
How does the pillion comfort on the FZS Deluxe stand up against the competition in its class?
15 January 2025 08:37
City use is fine but on highways the lack of wind protection for the pillion becomes obvious. If you do a lot of highway riding with a passenger you might want to consider adding a small windscreen.
Is Yamaha FZS Deluxe worth the extra premium over Yamaha FZ?
15 January 2025 08:37
Absolutely worth it! A huge difference in night riding is made by the LED headlight alone. The Bluetooth connectivity is super convenient for navigation, plus.
How does the FZS Deluxe perform in the heavy traffic compared to other bikes in its segment?
15 January 2025 08:37
However, it’s a double edged sword. It’s easy to maneuver, but it feels a bit unstable with a pillion in slow traffic.
What do FZS 250 owners swear by regarding modifications?
15 January 2025 08:30
I honestly think the FZS 250 is pretty solid stock. Apart from that I have just added some frame sliders for protection and a tail tidy to tidy up the rear end. Sometimes less is more.
In 2025, how does the FZS 250 fare as a beginner bike?
15 January 2025 08:30
I think the FZS 250 will still be relevant in 2025 for beginners, but that depends on your goals. It’s great if you’re only going to be riding in the city. If you want to start touring long right away, something a little more highway oriented might be in order.
What is the 2025 FZS 250 community like?
15 January 2025 08:30
The FZS 250 community is one of the best things about the FZS 250, everyone is so helpful with DIY repairs. There’s always someone who’s dealt with that weird noise or electrical gremlin before, and is happy to share their knowledge.
Is the Yamaha FZS 250 still relevant in 2025?
15 January 2025 08:30
It depends on what you’re looking for, I think. If top end performance and the latest tech is what you seek, then maybe you should look elsewhere. If you want a reliable, no nonsense bike that’ll last for years though, then the FZS 250 is still a solid choice.
What is long distance touring like on the FZS 250?
15 January 2025 08:30
While it’s decent for weekend getaways, if you’re looking to do a longer tour I’d prefer something with a little more oomph. Around town, the FZS 250 is great, but on a long highway run it starts to feel a little stressed.
Has anyone modified their FZS V3 Dark Knight Edition for better performance without voiding warranty?
15 January 2025 08:23
I focus on weight reduction. I removed unnecessary bits and swapped some parts for lighter alternatives. No engine mods needed to achieve better performance.
On long highway rides, how does the FZS V3 Dark Knight Edition’s fuel efficiency hold up?
15 January 2025 08:23
I was blown away by its efficiency, I did a 500km trip. Even at 80-90 kmph speeds, it averaged around 45 kmpl. A highway star is The Dark Knight!
How does the FZS V3 Dark Knight Edition handle in heavy traffic, as compared to other bikes in its class?
15 January 2025 08:23
In fact, I actually like my old Gixxer in traffic. While the FZS V3 Dark Knight is a bit heavy, it doesn’t feel heavy enough for quick direction changes.
Is the Bluetooth connectivity in the FZS V3 Dark Knight Edition a real improvement to the riding experience?
15 January 2025 08:23
It's not anything, it's more of a distraction. I turned it off after a week. There's nothing like focusing on the road, and the ride.
Is the Yamaha FZS V3 Dark Knight Edition a premium worth the price over the standard FZS V3?
15 January 2025 08:23
Absolutely worth it! The Dark Knight Edition draws attention wherever I go. Riding Batman's bike is like that, and it really gives you that confidence.
How do you find the Yamaha FZS-FI V3.0 in wet conditions?
15 January 2025 08:18
I travel to work year round, rain or shine. I've never had the FZ let me down in wet weather. It’s just a matter of changing your riding style and being more cautious.
Should you modify the Yamaha FZS-FI V3.0, or keep it stock?
15 January 2025 08:18
It depends on your goal. If you’re wanting to stand out, then yeah, mod away. If performance is what you’re after, you won’t get the results you’re looking for on an FZ.
Is the Yamaha FZS-FI V3.0 really underpowered for its class?
15 January 2025 08:18
The thing is, Yamaha tuned it for fuel efficiency. You can’t have it all: Insane power, great mileage, and low price. Instead, they decided to concentrate on what's most important for most commuters.
