How does the FZS V3 Dark Knight Edition handle in heavy traffic, as compared to other bikes in its class?

For many motorcycles in congested city streets in India, especially in urban centers, it isn’t an easy going. Some riders have christened the FZS V3 Dark Knight Edition a traffic buster because of its compact size and nimble handling. But in close quarters, people are split on how it compares to rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 or the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. The weight distribution of the bike, turning radius and low speed stability all are crucial factors determining the traffic worthiness of the bike. Its upright seating position has been a subject of riders' debate over whether the wider handlebars are a help or a hindrance when weaving through standstill traffic.

In traffic, the FZS V3 Dark Knight is a beast! It’s light enough and has a responsive throttle to make it simple to maneuver between cars.

The Apache RTR 160 4V handles better in tight spots, I feel. The FZS V3 feels a bit bulky in comparison.

The wide handlebars are a bit of a pain when filtering through really tight gaps, but it's decent. I've had a few close calls.

You get great visibility in traffic with the upright seating position. You can spot gaps and opportunities a lot easier than on sportier bikes.

I switched from a Pulsar NS160 to the FZS V3 and it is night and day in traffic. At low speeds the Yamaha really feels much more planted.

The FZS V3 has the perfect low end torque for stop and go traffic. It’s not a bike where you have to constantly change gears like on some other bikes.

In fact, I actually like my old Gixxer in traffic. While the FZS V3 Dark Knight is a bit heavy, it doesn’t feel heavy enough for quick direction changes.

It has a surprisingly good turning radius. My friend's Pulsar is almost impossible to turn U turns in narrow streets.

The bike is irrelevant, it’s all about the rider. I have seen people drive smoothly on much bigger bikes than the FZS V3.

The matte black finish of the Dark Knight Edition actually helps in traffic. You get a little more space to move because cars seem to notice you more.
