How does the FZS Deluxe perform in the heavy traffic compared to other bikes in its segment?
Many Indian riders have to deal with congested city streets every day. This is a compact machine with relatively low weight, and one that is often praised as a good urban commuter option – the FZS Deluxe. Opinions differ regarding how it actually does in real world traffic scenarios vs. its competition. Riders who love it say it's maneuverable and has a smooth throttle response, but others contend that bikes from other brands have better low end torque for those stop and go situations. The debate also involves heat management in slow moving traffic, ease of filtering between cars and in general rider comfort over long periods of congestion.
It's a breeze in traffic! It light clutch and nimble handling make it easy to weave through cars.
The Apache RTR 160 4V is decent, but it feels more responsive in stop and go situations.
