When driving at a long distance, how does the Nexon ride?
28 October 2024 01:40
I am not into long drives, but I have to say that I've taken a couple 500+ km trips in my Nexon and it was quite comfortable. The seats are supportive, with the exception of a few small bumps that the suspension sorks up nicely. Stability around highway is good, but on twisty roads you are aware of some body roll.
What are the most common concerns that the 2024 Honda Amaze owners have?
27 October 2024 07:25
For the most part, though, most concerns seem manageable… It’s just important to know what you’re getting into before buying! ---
Are we starting to find the Nexon’s design dated?
27 October 2024 07:11
It's actually gotten a little bit dated. The basics are in place, but there’s a little something 2018 about some of the accessories. The front grille needs updating and the rear end may have to be sharpened in order for Tata to keep up with rival designs.
Has Tata put the new Nexon on a diet in pursuit of a better nose?
26 October 2024 14:50
I think people are making a bigger deal out of it than it is. It is a bit firmer yes, but it also means better handling. It’s a more modern, European style setup. You can't have your cake and eat it, either you want a comfortable ride or better dynamics.
Can the Curvv's infotainment system compete with what Hyundai and Kia have already rolled out?
26 October 2024 02:29
Do you think it’s all of these touchscreens are overkill? Are you the only one? I’d take physical climate control and basic functions buttons any day. That is, the Curvv's system is fine in that sense – it does what it needs to do without being too distracting.
Does the Nexon CNG mean compromising with boot space?
26 October 2024 00:10
This isn’t great, but it’s a fair split of the coin for the fuel savings. In reality, most people don’t even use their entire boot capacity on a regular basis. However, you will always have the option of using a roof carrier for the occasional big shopping trip or vacation.
Will the typical SUV buyer find Nexon CNG to be sufficient?
25 October 2024 11:54
I’ve driven CNG cars before, and they really aren’t that bad—people make them out to be worse than they are. There is a minute about power loss but it is so little in the way you drive the car daily. Most buyers will be perfectly happy with the Nexon CNG, I think.
What is the Nexon EV real world performance compared to its ICE counterpart?
25 October 2024 08:16
The simplicity of the ICE version is what I actually like. There’s no range anxiety, no waiting for charges. Yes, the EV might be smoother, but it’s far more practical for my lifestyle. Also, I can’t help but think they don’t know exactly where EV technology is heading yet, and ICE tech has been around long enough to be considered a known quantity.
So is the Nexon EV's infotainment system a deal breaker when compared to rivals?
25 October 2024 07:25
The infotainment system is pretty basic honestly but it works. An affordable EV is not something I am expecting to be fancy. As soon as it connects to my phone and plays music I’m fine. But given that we’re supposed to save on money with an EV as well, the money saved probably went into the battery or motor, which is also the more important part in the EV.
How pragmatic is the Curvv compared to regular boxy SUVs in prevalent Indian conditions?
24 October 2024 23:03
It doesn’t matter what you want; it’s about the target audience, you’re both missing the point. The Curvv is not for people moving tons of stuff on a regular basis. Something stylish for daily use but, being sturdy enough for the occasional road trip. It's for urban dwellers.
Will the Nexon CNG ever match its electric SUV counterparts in the long run?
24 October 2024 15:08
Hybrid technology, let’s not forget. And I think that plug in hybrids actually may be more of a threat to CNG in the medium term. It’s the best of both worlds: they’re electric to use daily but they have petrol when you want to go for a long journey.
Real Indian driving conditions should tell us how will the range anxiety of Tata Curvv EV compare to other EVs.
24 October 2024 07:05
Mostly, Range Anxiety is just a psychological thing. People will see, once they actually own and drive the Curvv, just how much you actually get for daily use. It's literally just getting past that initial mental hurdle that that thing is bringing you.
Is the Nexon EV’s range anxiety the talk of town?
23 October 2024 19:07
The manufacturers always claim the best, this is not real. Now, reduced real world range is still enough for most peoples daily needs, but due to the smaller battery and powertrain ‘wiggling’ around in the trunk you might not find a confident ride setting it makes itself comfortable to. It isn’t about the car taking care of everything, it’s about adjusting your habits.
Is the Tata Nexon's safety ratings just an overhyped reality?
23 October 2024 12:31
And I don't even have room to comment being somebody who's been in a bad accident so why I'm not hyped is totally beyond me. There’s nothing like knowing your car has a top safety rating and giving you peace of mind. It's not the only thing but it’s gotta be one of the most important things if you’re picking out a family car.
Will the Curvv’s bold design change perceptions of Tata as a brand?
22 October 2024 15:41
I'm skeptical. When Tata launched the Nano, do you remember? That ought to have been revolutionary too. Just because one interesting model doesn't cause long term changes in brand perception, and just because one interesting model doesn't deliver in every market, doesn't mean that a model will never generate long term change in brand perception or that it won't do well in every single market.
Is the Tata Nexon EV all that it’s hyped to be, or is it just jumping the bandwagon on EVs?
22 October 2024 13:13
Of all the EVs in India (and there aren’t many), honestly, I think the Nexon EV deserves most of the hype. It is not perfect, but as an all around solid entry for anyone looking to go electric without spending the bank, its a solid choice. It’s not a bad range for a city car, and Tata is beefing up the charging infrastructure. Plus, they’ve got that SUV look to it which everyone seems to be crazy about nowadays.
When we talk about the Tata Curvv EV, will it tap into the avant garde features such as a touchscreen smart watch with a remote controlled feature; will it be a game changer or just another gimmick?
22 October 2024 09:43
The true test will be whether it plays nice with our phones and apps. If only it integrates well with WhatsApp and Google Maps, it really is a useful tool. Or if that’s not the case, it’s just a really expensive screen.
How reliable was the build quality on the Nexon as alleged by Tata?
22 October 2024 05:59
I think people are too harsh. Don’t compare it to luxury cars, compare it to other cars in the price range. What you do get for the money is more than acceptable in terms of build quality. It's a big jump for Indian cars.
Is the Nexon's infotainment system worth the hype?
22 October 2024 05:59
Decent? It's still pretty laggy in comparison with the systems they pack into cars from Hyundai or Kia. It may look nice, but who wants to use something like that on a bumpy road? The response to touch goes haywire. The software optimization is a work that has to be done by Tata.
