Let’s find out how the YZF-R125’s fuel efficiency fares in the real world.
07 January 2025 09:43
It’s the way you ride it that matters. The fuel economy suffers in stop and go traffic. It sips fuel like crazy, but on open roads where you can maintain a steady speed.
Is the Yamaha YZF R125 really a good first bike?
07 January 2025 09:43
Absolutely worth it! And the YZF R125 was my first bike and I couldn't have asked for a better learning platform. For newbies, it’s forgiving enough, but it still has enough pep to keep it interesting. It also looks like a proper sportbike, which is a big confidence boost when you start out.
Is the YZF R125 just a city bike or can it take on long distance rides?
07 January 2025 09:43
I have done a 300 mile round trip on my R125 and although it wasn't the most comfortable ride ever, it was absolutely doable. If you can’t keep up with the bigger bikes on the highway, just plan for more frequent stops.
The MG Hector Plus is how future proof when it comes to technology and features?
07 January 2025 09:30
However, the ADAS features are nice, but they’re not as refined as a couple of European brands. I wonder how they will look in a few years.
Is the MG Hector Plus really a true 7 seater SUV?
07 January 2025 09:30
The game changer is an adjustable middle row. It's more versatile than some competitors because you can balance legroom between the second and third rows.
The MG Hector Plus is a reliable car in the long run?
07 January 2025 09:30
Reliability has been fine, but a few sensors and electronics have been niggling me. It's nothing major, but more than I thought I would get for a new car.
Can the MG Hector Plus justify the price premium over its 5 seater sibling?
07 January 2025 09:30
It’s not just the extra seats that make the Plus feel more premium overall. It’s worth it for me thanks to the interior upgrades.
How does the MG Hector Plus fare on Indian roads when compared to its rivals?
07 January 2025 09:30
It's a mixed bag. Straight roads they are comfortable on but they are not the most confidence inspiring in tight turns or hilly areas.
Is the MG Comet roadworthy for Indian roads?
07 January 2025 08:04
Initially I was worried about safety, but after driving it I'm pretty secure. It’s a solid feeling car, and the safety features are impressive for its size. And it's nimble enough to avoid accidents.
Can the MG Comet EV drive EV adoption in India?
07 January 2025 08:04
It turns out that the quirky design might actually be helping EV adoption. People are talking and thinking about electric cars in a way that they don't about the more conventional looking EVs.
Does the MG Comet's quirky design work in its favour or against it?
07 January 2025 08:04
At first, I thought it was weird, but it’s grown on me. There's something nice about it, and the small size makes sense for what it's being used for. It also stands out in a sea of cars that look the same.
Can the MG Comet find a place in the market among players like Tata Tiago EV?
07 January 2025 08:04
The Comet can definitely compete, I think. The Tiago is just an electrified version of a regular car, whereas the S1 offers something really different. The Comet's small size is a big plus for city dwellers.
How well does the Astor hold up over the long haul?
07 January 2025 06:25
It hasn't had as positive an experience as I have. After just 6 months the door seals started making noise, and the infortainment system has frozen a couple of times. The price is not terrible, but for the price I expected better.
Do some reviews claim that the Astor's infotainment system is as laggy as it is?
07 January 2025 06:25
I've had my Astor for about 8 months now and yeah, the infotainment occasionally lags. It’s not a deal breaker, but it can be annoying when you’re trying to quickly change something while driving.
Is the Astor practical for a family of four that often takes the road?
07 January 2025 06:25
I am someone who does weekend getaways with family, and I think the Astor hits a sweet spot. Not too big to cause trouble in the city, but comfy enough for driving long. Don't expect to have the same amount of gear that you normally would in a Hector!
How good has the Astor been with unexpected repairs or whatnots?
07 January 2025 06:25
But I've had a minor issues here and there, but it's been mostly reliable. A weird rattle from the dashboard finally got fixed after two visits, and they kept having to fix this infotainment system they go on about, which required some sort of software update. Nothing major, though.
Is the ADAS of the MG Astor just a gimmick or the hype it is?
07 January 2025 06:25
I've had my Astor for about 6 months now and ADAS is hit or miss. In the city traffic, it's more of a headache than a help, but great on highways. It turns out I end up turning it off most of the time.
Is the Skoda Octavia a 'dad car' or can you be cool in one?
07 January 2025 05:33
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a dad car, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be cool. It’s cool because it’s practical and fun to drive at the same time.
Is the Skoda Octavia’s infotainment system a deal breaker?
07 January 2025 05:33
This is my kind of car in a nutshell, so it’s my biggest gripe with the car. The previous gen is where Skoda really dropped the ball on this one.
Does the Skoda Octavia deserve its reputation for reliability?
07 January 2025 05:33
If you keep it, it deserves the reputation. You don’t want to skimp on services because that’s asking for trouble.
