Can you live with the Aerox 155's lack of storage space and flat floorboard?
07 January 2025 10:28
It's a compromise for sure, but not a deal breaker. I've grown accustomed to using a backpack to haul around groceries and my helmet fits in the underseat storage just fine. The lost convenience is made up for by the performance.
On long weekend rides, how does the Aerox 155 fare against entry level sports bikes?
07 January 2025 10:28
It's a compromise. Perfect for mixed city highway riding but will feel limited on open highways. You miss the top end of a sports bike and wind protection is minimal. Now it’s way more practical when you get to your destination.
Is the Aerox 155 a good first step on the ladder of performance two wheelers?
07 January 2025 10:28
I would say it's a little bit of a mixed bag. It’s good for learning throttle control and cornering, but you miss out on essential skills such as clutch control and gear management that you need for bikes.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
Absolutely worth it! Basically, the Aerox is a sports bike in scooter form. The R15 level performance without the hassle of gears is what you get. Ideal for commuting through city traffic, or weekend jaunts.
So, how is the Aerox 155 to commute in Bangalore’s notorious traffic and roads?
07 January 2025 10:28
I am an Aerox lover as a daily commuter in Bangalore. It's got enough grunt to easily overtake when needed, but it’s the higher seating position that gives better visibility in traffic. Don’t be surprised if you get a lot of attention at signals!
What is the biggest misperception about the Viper's handling?
07 January 2025 10:21
The car generates a lot of downforce, and people underestimate that, especially the ACR models. It's not just raw power, there's a lot of real engineering in the aero.
What are the biggest modifications that make the most difference in Viper performance?
07 January 2025 10:21
If you’re serious about performance, weight reduction. The Viper's not light, so every pound you lose is a pound that doesn't have to go with the Viper.
Is the Dodge Viper as dangerous to drive as people say it is?
07 January 2025 10:21
It is real danger, but that is what makes it special. Not all cars need to be idiot proof. The Viper is something that demands respect, and skill, and that's something that you don't see very often these days.
Should Dodge bring the Viper back as a mid engine supercar?
07 January 2025 10:21
The Viper has always been about being different. If everyone's going mid engine, maybe you go to the other side and you make it just as extreme as you possibly can front engine. Like a modern Cobra Daytona.
What is the most underrated part of owning a Viper?
07 January 2025 10:21
The community. One thing I will tell you is that Viper owners are some of the most passionate and welcoming car people you’ll ever meet. It's like joining a family.
How does the Force Traveller 26 compare as a long distance tour vehicle with the newer alternatives?
07 January 2025 10:03
I still use Travellers as a tour operator for some routes. Tourists actually like the "authentic" feel and they're cheap to run. I wouldn't use them for premium tours or on very long distances, but… Basically, it’s about finding the right market for the right vehicle.
Is the Force Traveller 26 a good base for a camper van conversion?
07 January 2025 10:03
That really depends on what you need. The Traveller can be great if you’re planning mostly weekend trips and don’t mind a slower pace. However, if you’re planning on vanlife full time or long distance touring, you may want something more modern and powerful.
How does the Force Traveller 26 perform in hilly places?
07 January 2025 10:03
The stock Traveller is merely mediocre in the hills, but with a couple modifications it can be great. So I added better brakes, upgraded the suspension, and tweaked the engine a little. It now handles mountain roads like a champ. It’s all about how you’re going to make it work.
Does the Force Traveller 26 have what it takes to compete with modern minibuses in terms of passenger comfort?
07 January 2025 10:03
If I had the choice, as a passenger, I would certainly choose a modern minibus before the Traveller. As the Traveller is simple as a business owner, I find that appealing. Less downtime and cheaper repairs, fewer things to break. It's a trade-off.
Can the Force Traveller 26 be converted into a mobile clinic or medical van?
07 January 2025 10:03
I have seen some Traveller conversions that were really impressive for medical use. It can be a great mobile clinic with the right modifications - good insulation, custom interiors, and upgraded suspension. It’s the smart design and quality components.
Would the Standard Herald have made it if it had better marketing?
07 January 2025 09:55
It's possible. It's possible to say that if it were marketed better, it could've made a cult following that would have survived longer, even though it would not have made it a mainstream success.
Would the Standard Herald be successful if it is relaunched today in the Indian market?
07 January 2025 09:55
It would need a strong USP, apart from just nostalgia. Maybe you could position it as the ultimate city car – with that famous tight turning radius?
How did the Standard Herald’s unique design affect or hinder its own popularity in India?
07 January 2025 09:55
Its popularity was definitely hurt by the unique design. During those days most Indians preferred familiar conservative designs. The Herald was just too much.
How does the YZF-R125 cope with handling compared to larger sportbikes?
07 January 2025 09:43
It's a mixed bag. And in some ways it is more forgiving, as it is easier to correct mistakes. It doesn’t give you the same feedback as a larger sportbike, but it also doesn’t have the same learning curve, which can be important for developing your skills.
Is there any point to modifying the YZF-R125 for more power?
07 January 2025 09:43
Depends on your goals. If you're stuck with a 125 due to license restrictions, and want to get the most out of it, then some mods can be fun. If you’re thinking about moving up soon, though, it’s not worth the investment.
