Had the Eliminator 175 arrived ahead of its time for the Indian market?
29 January 2025 09:06
I think it was just a little bit too late. But it probably would have been a runaway hit if it had come out just a few years later, when disposable incomes were higher and people had begun to think of motorcycles as more than just a means of transportation.
Does the Dominar Scrambler’s extended ground clearance and longer suspension travel make it better suited to Indian road conditions?
29 January 2025 09:02
Comfort is a big difference made by the longer suspension travel, especially on longer rides. The standard model soaks up bumps and ruts much better than the standard model. It’s a big upgrade for touring on different Indian roads.
Was Discover 100T too early in the Indian market?
29 January 2025 07:34
That was ahead of its time, but that’s not always a good thing. But the market wasn’t willing to pay a premium for a high tech 100cc.
Was the Mahindra Naya Commander the most underrated Indian car in its time?
28 January 2025 10:05
Now, it might’ve been a gas guzzler in terms of practicality, but it was a gas guzzler. That in itself made it hard to justify.
Will the Indian traditional buyers love the unconventional design of the Svartpilen 801?
28 January 2025 09:39
That is exactly why it is going to be successful, it is an unconventional design. There’s a new weariness of cookie cutter bikes.
Can the Svartpilen 801 live up to its expected high price tag in the value conscious Indian market?
28 January 2025 09:39
The question is, though, can Husqvarna build a strong enough brand image to warrant that price? It's not just about the bike.
Was the design of the Maruti Omni Ambulance genius for Indian conditions?
28 January 2025 09:25
Absolutely genius! The Indian equivalent of a Swiss Army knife, the Omni Ambulance is compact, versatile and gets the job done. The perfect design for our chaotic traffic and narrow gullies. You try clearing a big fancy ambulance through a Mumbai bylane during monsoon!
Is the Maruti Omni Ambulance the unheralded hero of Indian healthcare?
28 January 2025 09:25
Hero? Wheels more like a liability. You’ve seen how cramped it is inside, right? The small room has barely room for a patient, let alone any proper medical equipment. We don’t need to celebrate outdated tech, we need to upgrade our emergency response vehicles.
So, how does the Ola S1 Pro cope with Indian roads?
28 January 2025 09:14
In fact, the handling is pretty good, even on less than ideal roads. The problem is ground clearance more than anything. Traditional scooters do not require as much awareness of obstacles as you do.
Is Tata Magic CNG 8 Seater a practical daily use vehicle in Indian cities?
24 January 2025 10:38
Absolutely! It’s a game changer and I’ve been using it for my catering business. Fits all my staff and equipment easily.
Is the fixed battery of the Honda QC1 a strategic mistake in the Indian market?
24 January 2025 10:15
Honda’s decision proves that they don’t understand the Indian market. Here, flexibility is the key, and swappable batteries deliver that.
Is the Honda QC1's modest performance destined to fail in the cutthroat Indian EV market?
24 January 2025 10:15
In fact, the modest specs might be a blessing. Better reliability and longer battery life are usually associated with lower performance.
Could the TAMO RaceMo help change perceptions about Indian automotive engineering?
24 January 2025 09:09
Even when it didn't make it to production, I think it already changed some perceptions. It was impressive that Tata could design something like this.
Can Zontes create a strong brand identity in the crowded market of Indian motorcycles?
23 January 2025 10:52
Yes, Zontes has potential to create a strong identity by focusing on premium features, competitive pricing, and unique designs. However, building trust through after-sales service and network expansion will be crucial in competing with established brands.
Is the MG Majestor too big for Indian roads?
23 January 2025 10:47
Size doesn't matter, it's about the skill of the driver. I've seen people in Innovas drive through the gullies of Old Delhi, the narrowest of gullies. The Majestor will be fine if they can do that.
Is the Hondaonda CB Shine truly the king of Indian commuters?
23 January 2025 10:41
No way, man. The SP 125 blows it out of the water. It has better features, the samesame reliability,, and doesn’t look like it’s stuck in 2010.
This brings us to the biggest question – how will the MG M9 EV’s range hold up in real Indian driving conditions?
23 January 2025 10:12
I think people are too pessimistic. EVs have come a long way. Of course, it doesn’t need to reach 500km, but 400km is plenty for most families.
Can MG M9 EV's luxury features survive the use and abuse of Indian family use?
23 January 2025 10:12
I think Indian engineering is underestimated. If MG is smart they’ve adapted these features for our conditions. Indian families are also pretty careful with their cars, plus.
Will the MG M9 EV’s sliding doors fit in the tight Indian parking spots?
23 January 2025 10:12
I am more concerned with power failures. You could get stuck inside with no electricity (and no way to open the doors). MG damn well better have a good manual override system.
Will Indian consumers appreciate the design of the AFEELA 1?
23 January 2025 09:54
Let’s be honest, at that price point, people will buy it for the brand and tech, not the design. If it has cool features, it could look like a toaster and still sell.
