But how practical is a Supro in crowded Indian cities?
27 December 2024 10:47
It’s a cost, but it’s practical. Yes, it’s easy to drive around in, but it comes at the expense of much passenger comfort and cargo space.
Does the Mahindra Supro Ambulance really suit Indian road conditions?
27 December 2024 10:28
I can attest that the Supro Ambulance is surprisingly capable as someone who has driven it in city and rural settings. A huge plus about its compact size is that I've squeezed through gaps in urban traffic that would leave larger ambulances stuck. The suspension works okay, bouncing away larger potholes though you can feel road bumps out on the rural roads.
Do the Scorpio-N’s ADAS features actually make sense in Indian driving conditions?
27 December 2024 10:03
Being able to have the ADAS features at least gives me a peace of mind when I’m driving and family. It’s worth having that extra layer of safety, even if they’re not perfect.
How do the Indian roads work for the Jeeto Plus?
27 December 2024 09:34
The Jeeto Plus is fine for city roads, but rural roads are a different story. The suspension bottoms out on really bad patches and I've had issues with it. If you plan to use it mostly on well kept roads, then you will be fine. However, if you’re looking for something to get you through serious off road or damaged roads to the point where they’re heavily damaged, then you might want something with more ground clearance.
Is all the black interior in the Safari Dark Edition too hot in Indian summers?
26 December 2024 09:44
The black shows every speck of dust and the heat is manageable. Keeping it clean is a pain.
How is the Safari Dark Edition in Indian road conditions in comparison to other SUVs in the segment?
26 December 2024 09:44
The black paint of the Dark Edition shows every scratch from our crazy traffic. It looks good but it's high maintenance.
So is the Mahindra XEV 9e’s ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) features practical in Indian driving conditions?
26 December 2024 09:06
It could actually teach drivers how to drive in lanes properly and also keep safe following distances. It’s like having a driving instructor with you all the time.
Will the Indian market take to the Mahindra BE 6e's design?
26 December 2024 08:09
The thing I’m worried about is practicality. Although those sharp angles might look cool, what about visibility? Good luck finding a local garage that can repair those fancy body panels.
Is 285 bhp of BE 6e overkill for Indian roads?
26 December 2024 08:09
It's way too much. The roads are not there and we don't have the driving discipline for cars with that kind of power. It's just asking for trouble.
How does the Tata Tiago ride on Indian roads when compared to its rivals?
24 December 2024 12:59
If you've been following us, you know that I have driven both the Tiago and the Tiago NRG, both of which being relatively soft suspension cars, the NRG has slightly more ground clearance and tweaked suspension that make for a better car for rougher roads. If good ride quality is at the top of your priority list, it may be worth the extra price to get the NRG.
So is the ADAS system on the Tata Harrier actually useful in Indian driving conditions?
24 December 2024 12:34
And I have used the Harrier’s ADAS on highways and it works surprisingly well. In moderate traffic, the adaptive cruise control works great and the lane keep assist is useful on well to mark roads. It's a good start for Indian conditions, not perfect by any means.
Is the Tata Harrier the hype, or just another overhyped Indian SUV?
24 December 2024 12:34
I test drove the Harrier and its competitors, and it's a mixed bag. In ride quality, space and overall refinement, the Harrier is a winner, but it does lag behind some rivals. That really depends on what your priorities are. If you like a tough build and don’t mind the rough edges, go for it. If you’re looking for a more polished experience look elsewhere.
How long have you been waiting to learn how a Tata Punch comes to grips with Indian road conditions?
24 December 2024 10:40
It has held up well through some pretty rough rural roads. It's not quite as capably as it might be in a true 4x4, but it's much more capable than a normal hatchback.
How well does the Tata Punch cope with Indian roads?
24 December 2024 10:28
It's good for most conditions, and I wish it had a little more pass power for highway overtaking. On steep inclined fully loaded it struggles a bit.
Why the TVS XL is the favorite of Indian commuters?
18 December 2024 10:27
Honestly, the ruggedness is what is appealing to me. With it, I don’t have to worry about damaging the bike by loading groceries or even small furniture onto it. It’s like a workhorse!"
Will the Bajaj Avenger 400 be a game-changer in the Indian cruiser market?
18 December 2024 07:00
Absolutely! The Avenger 400 could be exactly what the Indian market needs. It'll offer more power than the 220 without the insane price tag of bigger bikes. Perfect for those wanting to upgrade.
So how would an Avenger 400 sit in the family photo of the current Indian cruiser market?
18 December 2024 05:33
The cool cousin showing up at the family reunion would be an Avenger 400. That could slot right in between the smaller 350cc cruisers that some might find a bit underpowered and the pricier 650cc options that are out of reach for many. If you find the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 a little too tame, but can’t stretch to a 650, this Avenger 400 could well be the answer. It’s almost like the middle seat at the movies — not too close, not too far, just right. With the Avenger 400, Bajaj may have found the bike that will put balance in the Indian cruiser market.
How was an Avenger 400 able to crash the Indian cruiser party?
18 December 2024 05:33
Imagine an Avenger 400 coming into the cruiser scene like a rockstar! Maybe it's the Goldilocks bike, not too small like the 220cc version, not too pricey like some big cruisers. Its likely competitive pricing and beefed up power mean it could be the go to bike for riders looking to upgrade from smaller bikes or those wanting a capable cruiser without selling a kidney. In fact, it may even make some of the bigger players nervous! The Avenger 400 might just shake things up by providing that perfect power, comfort, and affordability balance that’s been missing from the market.
But if Tata wants to adopt a coupe like design in the Tata Curvv for the Indian market, is that a feat or a professional compromise?
30 October 2024 02:15
But like so many others, I’ll hold judgment until I sit in one. Remember photos can be deceiving – perhaps Tata's engineers are adept at folding up space despite what the coupe like roof may suggest. That would be revolutionary if they've pulled it off.
Is Tata’s Curvv EV coupe design practical for Indian families?
29 October 2024 07:22
First off, who is the person buying this car that will actually be doing family road trips? Come on, let’s be real, most people aren’t. It's plenty practical for that purpose. But maybe it’s also more parking friendly, especially in tight spaces, than bigger SUVs.
