It costs less therefore and is less money to maintain and is readily accessible to many small clinics and NGOs. But it is missing many of the modern safety features and medical equipment that you’d find in more modern ambulances. So, the question arises how effective it is in the current healthcare scenario and if it’s continued use is a testimony to India’s resourcefulness or a lack of healthcare infrastructure.
Absolutely! Omni Ambulance is the OG of Indian emergency response. Small, versatile and always there when you need it, it's like the Swiss Army knife of healthcare. It’s not fancy, but it does the job in places those big, shiny ambulances can’t even fit.
