The motorcycle is available to the customers at a starting price tag of INR 1,45,800 while the overall sporty profile of the motorcycle has been kept the same with an addition of technology-rich features. The motorcycle has been able to establish itself as one of the most appreciated track-focused sports machines available in the Indian markets.
Design and Style
Coming to the aggressive sports motorcycle styling, the BS6 Yamaha R15 V3 has been equipped with track-specific bits. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with sharper body panels which have been complemented by an LED headlight set up at the front. The overall graphic detailing of the updated motorcycle variants has been tweaked a bit though the finely-tuned minimalistic character has been retained to add to its muscular profile. The brand has finally positioned the pillion seat on the motorcycle on a bit lower side catering to the issues faced by customers.

The bike has been equipped with Variable Valve Technology (VVT) which offers an increase in the engine’s revolution per minute thus offering better performance while at the same time caters to lower fuel emission as well as better mileage. At present, there are no direct rivals of the BS6 Yamaha R15 in the Indian markets though one can certainly compare it with Suzuki Gixxer SF as well as KTM RC 125.
