Maruti Suzuki exports pass full-year 2025 total by October 2026
Maruti Suzuki shipped 4.20 lakh vehicles in the first ten months of 2026, surpassing the 3.95 lakh it exported in all of 2025.
Maruti Suzuki exported about 4.20 lakh vehicles from January to October 2026, overtaking the 3.95 lakh it shipped in all of 2025. Maruti also reported nearly 30% growth against January to October a year earlier. The two comparisons answer different questions. One shows when the company passed last year’s total, while the other compares the same ten months in both years.
How to compare Maruti’s export figures
| Period or measure | Reported figure |
|---|---|
| January–October 2026 shipments | About 4.20 lakh vehicles |
| Full-year 2025 shipments | About 3.95 lakh vehicles |
| January–October year-on-year growth | Nearly 30% |
Subtracting the rounded full-year 2025 figure from the 2026 ten-month figure gives a lead of about 25,000 vehicles. The final 2026 total will depend on November and December dispatches. The headline tally includes all exported vehicles, including conventional and electric models.

Why the export footprint matters
Maruti says it ships to about 120 countries and points to Japan, Latin America and Africa among the leading destinations. A broader footprint helps the company serve more markets as shipping routes change. The overall numbers leave the individual contribution of each model and destination open.
For the Indian industry, the milestone is a measure of export throughput. It says little by itself about showroom stock or waiting periods for any one domestic model. Those depend on the variant, dealer allocation and location.
