The Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 were recalled in India due to an engine vibration issue. This voluntary recall affected 199 units of these motorcycles. Suzuki aimed to resolve the issue promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. I think this proactive step by Suzuki shows their commitment to quality.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has recently updated the Gixxer 155 and Gixxer 250 series with new colors and graphics to celebrate the brands 100th anniversary. The Gixxer SF 250 now comes in a Triton Blue/Silver shade, while the Gixxer 250 gets a Metallic Triton Blue color scheme. These updates also include new racing graphics and a Peral Mira Red paint scheme. The prices have been hiked by Rs. 1,000 over the older models.

In 2019, Suzuki launched the Gixxer 250 in India, priced at Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This naked quarter-litre bike is about Rs. 11,000 cheaper than its full-faired sibling, the Gixxer SF 250. The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 underwent significant changes, including a new design, an all-LED headlamp, and a white backlit instrument cluster.
