Our take on this /// Verdict
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Stealth Black is a motorcycle that embodies the essence of retro styling and modern reliability. Its iconic design, complete with a matte black finish, makes it a head-turner on the streets. The 499cc single-cylinder engine, producing 27.2 bhp and 41.3 Nm of peak torque, delivers a unique thumping experience that is both visceral and pleasurable. While the bikes heavy weight and handling can be challenging, especially in tight spots, the addition of ABS and a rear disc brake enhances safety. The overall riding experience is engaging, requiring the rider to be actively involved, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a more authentic biking experience. However, high maintenance and the presence of vibration, particularly in the front forks, are aspects that potential buyers should consider.

Mileage

The mileage of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Stealth Black is a crucial factor for potential buyers, especially in India where fuel efficiency is often a key consideration. This motorcycle is known for its heavy engine and robust build, which typically results in a mileage of around 25-30 kmpl in city riding conditions and up to 35-40 kmpl on the highway. However, actual mileage can vary based on riding style, road conditions, and maintenance of the bike. Given its powerful engine and weight, the Classic 500 Stealth Black is not the most fuel-efficient option, but it offers a balance between performance and economy that many riders find acceptable.
