Royal Enfield Classic 500 Chrome Edition Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Royal Enfield had struggled hard to retain its old values and elegance in their motorcycles. With changing time, certain things demanded change too. The same concept has been applied to the most popular Classic series. The new 500 cc machine is called Classic 500, which comes in a couple of editions, namely Chrome, Battle Green, Stealth Black, and Desert Storm.
The Chrome edition is a totally different offering from every motorcycle available in the Indian motorcycle industry. From its name only, you can guess the usage of chrome all over for body styling. Like other vintage offerings, it has got both the mudguards in chrome, but unlike any other, the fuel tank also gets chrome as its color. The Royal Enfield emblem on the left and right of the tank and the covers of both front suspension and air filter gets the standard colors like Red or Black.
The engine stays the same as other Classic 500 cc offerings. It comes out with 27.2 BHP @ 5250 rpm and 41.3 NM @ 4000 rpm. The engine gets a 5-speed manual transmission and with such high torque value, the motorcycle is really fun to drive machine. Surprisingly, the Classic 500 comes with electronic fuel injection, which in turn has increased its mileage from the previous models. The Chrome dipped power machine comes with an option of a pillion seat on demand.
