MV Agusta F4 RR

About
The MV Agusta F4 RR is a litre-class superbike that has been refined over the years to deliver exceptional performance and handling. Its 998cc inline-four engine is capable of producing 201 BHP and 111 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful production bikes available. The bike features advanced electronics, including three riding modes (Rain, Normal, Sport), eight levels of traction control, and a quickshifter for seamless gear changes. The suspension is handled by Ohlins, and the braking system includes monobloc Brembo disc brakes with ABS. The design, though updated, retains the classic lines of the original F4, making it a stunning piece of motorcycle art. However, its aggressive ergonomics and high seat height make it more suited for track use than daily commuting. Overall, the F4 RR is a machine that combines raw power, sophisticated technology, and Italian flair, making it a dream bike for serious enthusiasts.

USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The MV Agusta F4 RR is a motorcycle that embodies the essence of Italian engineering and design, but it is not for the faint of heart. This bike is a track-oriented beast, with its 998cc inline-four engine producing a staggering 201 BHP and 111 Nm of torque. The riding experience is intense, with aggressive throttle response, especially in Sport mode, and a quickshifter that makes gear changes seamless. However, the ergonomics are demanding, with a high seat height and rear-set footpegs that make it uncomfortable for long rides and challenging to maneuver in traffic. The suspension, though adjustable, is stiff and suited more for the track than everyday riding. Despite its flaws, the F4 RR is a masterpiece of engineering and design, making it a coveted possession for serious enthusiasts, but it requires a rider who is both skilled and physically capable.
Price
The MV Agusta F4 RR is priced at around Rs 35 lakh ex-showroom in India, which can escalate to over Rs 40 lakh on-road depending on the state and local taxes. This price reflects the premium nature of the bike, with its high-performance engine, advanced electronics, and top-tier components like Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes. For those who can afford it, the F4 RR offers an unparalleled riding experience, but it is certainly not a budget-friendly option. The cost also includes the exclusivity and prestige of owning a rare and highly sought-after motorcycle.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 12:54 PM When it comes to mileage, the MV Agusta F4 RR is not designed for fuel efficiency. With its powerful engine and performance-oriented setup, the bike is expected to deliver mileage in the range of 8-12 kml, depending on the riding conditions and mode. This is typical for a high-performance superbike, and owners should be prepared for higher fuel costs and more frequent visits to the petrol station.

F4 vs RR

I Own an F4 1000 2018 and the top speed is 306, the RR goes up to 320-330 and requires a proficient rider. Electronics are simple and works well. The bike is built solid and a very strong chassis, what I really hope is the pistons are not forged so city riding will not damage the engine and thankfully I've got steel con rods and not titanium which definitely will make a more reasonable overhaul if needed (scored titanium is a disaster)
