Honda has unveiled the 2024 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Carbon Edition, a limited-edition model with only 300 units to be produced. This bike features extensive use of carbon fiber components, including the front and rear mudguards, engine guard, center fairing, winglets, and airbox cover. It also boasts cutting-edge racing electronics and a servo-actuated Akrapovic exhaust system. I think this carbon-clad version is a real showstopper for any bike enthusiast.

The 2024 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP has received significant updates, including a revised engine with a higher compression ratio, new valve timing, and lighter crankshaft and conrods. The bike also features new Öhlins Smart Electronic Control (SE-C3.0) suspension, Brembo Stylema R four-piston calipers, and a redesigned fairing with new winglets. The riding position has been adjusted for better control, and the bike comes with a fully customizable 5-inch TFT display. I believe these updates make it a formidable competitor in the superbike market.

Honda recalled the 2020 CBR1000RR-R motorcycles in India to replace the oil cooler outlet pipe and heat shield due to potential safety issues. This recall follows a similar action taken in the US earlier in the year. The recall ensures that the bikes meet safety standards and provides peace of mind for owners.

The 2019 Honda CBR1000RR received mild updates, primarily in its electronics. Honda considered introducing a V4 powertrain for the CBR1000RR in 2019, although this did not materialize. The speculation highlighted Hondas continuous efforts to keep the CBR1000RR competitive against other litre-class bikes. I think a V4 engine would have been an exciting development, but the current inline-four still packs a punch.

What is the price of 1998 Honda CBR1000RR?
29 December 2022 05:47
The Honda CBR1000RR was launched in 2004 and the model it replaced, which was available in 1998 was the CBR900RR. The bike was the lightest one in the segment, weighing only 185 kg and 205 kg with all the fluids and full fuel tank. In 1998, the Honda CBR900RR was in its 4th generation, with revised running dynamics and suspension. The bike now had larger disc brakes and 80 percent of its engine was built again, in order to improve performance and reduce friction. It produced around 125 BHP at that time, making it the favorite one for racing. Before its discontinuation in 2004, its dry weight was reduced to 168 kg only. Its price solely depends on its condition and the offer being made by its owner.
