Expert opinion and recommendation
The Ducati Monster 1200 S is a powerhouse of a motorcycle that balances raw power with surprising comfort. The bikes engine, delivering 148 hp and 91 lb-ft of torque, is a marvel, providing a cruiser-level punch with a sporty edge. Despite its potent performance, the Monster 1200 S handles with a confidence-inducing lightness, thanks to its fully adjustable suspension and Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires. However, it does come with some drawbacks, such as running hot and less-than-ideal mirrors. The quick shifter and cornering ABS are standout features that enhance the riding experience. Overall, its a bike that will induce maniacal laughter in Sport or Touring mode, but its not without its quirks. If youre looking for a naked bike that combines style, power, and a raw riding experience, the Monster 1200 S is hard to beat.

I expected more power from this bike, given the specs that it gives 145 bhp, which is less from Yamaha FZ-1 even, which is 1000 cc and cost more than 11 lacs short!!!
