MAXABOUT RATING AND OVERVIEW | |
Vehicle Overview | Honda CB1000R is the flagship naked bike in the company lineup, serving the same design and comparatively lesser power than most liter class naked bikes of India. The 998cc, 4-cylinder engine on the motorcycle is good for 123.37 BHP at 10000 rpm and 99 Nm at 7750 rpm. It weighs 222 kg and claims 0-100 kmph in just 4 seconds. Honda even claims a top speed of 225 kmph for the motorcycle. It is quite heavy because it uses Honda manufactured brakes and suspension components that have now been replaced with performance parts on the flagship racer, CBR1000R. Honda CB1000R rivals Suzuki GSX-S1000 and Kawasaki Z1000. |

What are the Dimensions of Honda CB1000R?
30 Jul, 2013 | By Maxabout Team
Honda CBR1000R gets some impressive dimensions. Its 2090mm long, around 775 mm wide and nearly 1090 mm high.
The sports bike features an advanced and much powerful 1000 cc engine which delivers an astounding power of 126 bhp at 10,000 rpm and a beating torque of 100 Nm at mere 8000 rpm. The 6-speed manual transmission features a Wet Multi Plate Clutch system which offers a buttery and smooth clutch. The kerb weight stands at 217 Kg and the ground clearance stands at 130 mm. That's quite low but fine if its a sports bike. It carries a massive fuel tank of 17 liters capacity.
The battery inserted is maintenance free and its wheelbase measures 1445 mm. The LED headlamp is much eye catchy and the LCD meter panel looks sturdy in the front. But, the only lament is its mileage. Honda CBR1000R delivers mere 15 km/l on busy Indian roads. When it comes to safety aspects, it comes fitted with ABS which assists in case of panic braking. Its price is much heavy and will find few buyers in the country.
