The Xpulse 200 is a great value-for-money off-roader, but for Rs 38,000 more, Hero will sell you a fully road-legal Rally Kit that ramps up the bike’s off-road abilities. This includes a longer travel, rebound and compression adjustable front fork, a preload and rebound adjustable monoshock and Maxxis off-road knobbies.

Hero MotoCorp has released an improved version of the 2023 Xpulse 200 4V. The base variant costs Rs 1.44 lakh, while the new top-end PRO variant costs Rs 1.51 lakh. The Xpulse 200 4V PRO variation is the Rally Edition of the previous version. The base variation receives a Rs 5,000 price increase over the previous model.

The Hero XPulse 200 4V has gained 3 kg in weight but lost some power and torque in its latest update, though only marginally. The price has also increased by around Rs. 5,000. Despite these changes, the bike remains a popular choice for its off-road capabilities and value-for-money proposition. I believe the slight trade-offs are worth it for the overall package.
